There's just one thing I can't get...why does nobody get Brain Freeze? Is it really that bad? It feels like it would be better in a raiding situation than cone of cold buffs.

Or do they not get it because glyphed Frost Bolt doesn't proc it? I could be misunderstanding the effect. It'd be nice to see them take the requirement for the chill effect off, since it's a good proc for frost...

I guess I'm pretty happy right now though. Frost Raiding sounds like I might not quit WoW.

glyphed frost bolt does indeed proc brain freeze. when frozen core's ice lance's were active, they took priority over brain freeze procs. with frozen core rolled back, i wouldn't be surprised to see brain freeze back into the mix. of course, it ought to increase your fireball's critical strike bonus damage by 33% per talent point, but still...

It's because, in deep Frost, you really don't have any talents propping up your Fireball. None. So while a free Fireball sounds good in theory you're better off tossing that GCD through another Frostbolt--you'll just do more damage and it isn't like Frostbolt is mana-intensive.
