Does the Sacred Shield change mean the spell is now pretty much useless for pally tanks? Spending points in Divine Guardian now doesn't seem worth it then. I guess I'll put the points in the HoJ talent instead.

Infusion of Light: This talent now also reduces the cooldown on the effect of Sacred Shield by 12/24 seconds. So no, it doesn't hurt us pally tanks.

Infusion of Light is a deep holy tree talent. So only pally healers will have it and only their Sacred Shield is gonna work the same way it works now for pallys of all specs. As a pally tank if I cast SS on myself, it's gonna proc only once every 30 seconds, absorbing negligible amount of damage.

Except that Infusion of Light is a Holy talent...

Infusion of Light is a deep Holy talent. A pally tank won't have it. Sacred Shield is destroyed as an aid to prot paladins. It's completely useless now, they might as well remove it from the game. For 600 damage absorbed every 30 seconds, I won't even bother to put it up.Every class gets nerfs. They're always painful. You hate them, but you know you're not going to quit, so why bother to complain. But this is a prot paladin nerf, straight up and in the nads. Don't sugar coat it.
