It always bothers me when PvP messes up my PvE. There -are- people who don't PvP out there. LoH represents a 'OMG why isn't the healer healing me??" button when good groups go bad, at least when I use it. I don't use it often but when I have to, man it is so necessary.

This.
There are times during a raid or heroics or whatever when the healer is incapacitated and cannot get to the tank as quickly as they should. Or places like H ToC, where Lay on Hands comes in handy as an OH $%!^! button. This is so going to be a bad thing if it goes through. I've played a paladin for over a year now and really wish they would decide what they are going to be doing with this class. Even after taking a few month break, I'm still trying to get a grasp of all the changes.
Please, Blizz, make up your mind.

Sounds like you need to get a better healer to me.

Sounds more like you didn’t read the context of the post when they specifically pointed out that sometimes a GOOD healer gets incapacitated.

indeed. I play with my girlfriend. I'm a mage and she's a pally. When we are questing, she usually makes mobs and I kill 'em with an AoE.. but sometimes things don't go to well, maybe mobs are too strong or she pulls too many and what do I know we can always count on when things look bad? LOH. If you take that away, it's gonna get messy. It's a real life saver in PvE.. I hope this won't get through.. think of poor mages having to deal with mobs of angry monsters when the pally dies D:

well, if pally has this button that saves him from a wipe, why don't other tanks have it? Palies shouldn't be special with regards to his peers. Raiding is a team work, and if you don't trust your healer, then you are a bad team-mate. Sure, things happen and groups wipe time after time, but it's the performance of a whole team that matters. Palies should stop having a self-centred image. After all the original WoW manual did say that if you play a paladin, you're that kind of person that doesn't like losing. Well, that's explains this outrage.

^^ Exactly.
You roll a Paladin and cry when you get nerfed cause they are taking away your iWin button. Sure it's awe inspiring to see a palading tanking a naxx boss by himself for 5 whole percent, but if pallys can do it, then the other tank classes should be able to as well.
And...as someone who plays a healer, you have to know your toon well enough to move when you are supposed to in order to help prevent the wipe in the first place.
