Leeroy-related extras on recent DVD releases

Recently two different movies have included their own versions of the world famous Leeroy Jenkins video in their DVD extras. Year One is the first -- the video, which you can watch after the link below, isn't a perfect reproduction, but it is funny to see Vinnie Jones and the other actors (including McLovin as Leeroy) try to wrap all of the WoW jargon and nonsense jokes from the original into their idea of a scene that makes sense.
There's another Leeroy Jenkins related extra on the Monsters vs. Aliens DVD -- this one's just a set of storyboards, but it does feature the voice cast, including Kiefer Sutherland and Seth Rogen, doing their own little version of the scene. It's not quite as faithful as the Year One version, but it does feature Rogen doing the Leeroy yell, and that's worth watching by itself. You can watch that video after the break as well.
Both are worth a chuckle -- it's wild to see a meme like Leeroy sneak out into mainstream media.

I never thought Leeroy would go mainstream. That's pretty cool though, shows how well known WOW has become.

That just made my week, thanks Mike.
That first one was so awesome.

I first saw the Leeroy video right after seeing Make Love Not Warcraft (the South Park episode). I blame both of those events equally for the amount of time /played.

The year one video was actually really good. I don't think they could've gotten any more accurate then they did.

I really wish they'd keep to the script. Often when I'm explaining a boss fight I'll give that strategy and see who gets it. It was great the time when everyone ran in to Heigan looking for adds. Nobody Divine Interventioned the mages though :(

In almost every raid (especially if it's a pug) and we're standing around waiting for /afks or something, I usually get bored, hit invisibility and run straight at the boss. My guild is used to it by now but I've had some pugs start panicking and charge in after me. Once I almost got someone to believe that if you run in and don't hit the boss, then they won't aggro. Back when we were running Naxx, they would actually have me run in for Sapphiron just to get him to assemble.

I'd boot you in a second, Brad.

"Hardman" Vinnie Jones doing spoof of Leeroy Jenkins. How could you POSSIBLY think that it's lame? Apparently you've had your head crushed in a car door one to many times (or at least you will soon).

Let's not forget Randy's little clip from it in the last season of My Name is Earl

Thanks for posting these! Found the one on MvA just last week, sent it back to Netflix the other day. Now I get to watch it over and over and over and over w/o renting the dvd again!
Woohoo!

I also thought it was funny that they both mentioned the ability "intimidating shout"...
