One thing I didn't see mentioned are two pretty good mid-level trinkets that are available.

First is the High-Powered Flashlight (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=45631), which improves hit rate by 24 on equip, is available from an engineer (though Eng isn't required to use), and requires lvl 49. The next is Strength of the High Chief (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=34423), which increases attack power by 50 on equip, and is from a Winterspring quest chain available at lvl 50 (you might need some help at some points at the minimum levels).

I have a 60 hunter, and these two choices were well worth the time to obtain.

the Strenth of the High Chief's associated quest chain begins from an item dropped by any furbolg in winterspring, the Empty Firewater Flask ( http://www.wowhead.com/?item=12771 ). The 50 AP or 29 SP that the two trinkets can provide is so potent for its level that every toon of probably around level 54-57 should do this quest chain.
