WRUP: Happy, happy Hallow's End edition

Ah, Saturday! That pristine day of the week when one needn't get up early for work, contend with rush hour traffic, or even crawl out of bed if you don't feel like it. Of course, this Saturday also appears to be some kind of crazy, candy-worshiping holiday -- which means you could have friends trying to drag you away from bed (or WoW) to participate in their candy-coated shenanigans. Don't be tempted to give in! Virtual trick-or-treating involves a much lower calorie consumption and is nearly as much fun.

But regardless of what you find yourself getting into on this October 31st, remember, Hallow's End wraps up on November 2nd, so you've only a few more days to complete your holiday goals tonight, so you better panic! So, without further ado, here's what your friendly neighborhood WoW.com staff is up to this weekend...

  • Allison Robert: With any luck, getting a bit closer to exalted with Brood of Nozdormu.
  • C. Christian Moore (@TheArenaGuy): Working out and writing a good bit to make up for lost time. Also... GOING TO THE WORLD SERIES. Jealous?
  • Chase Christian (@madsushi): Playing a ton of Borderlands, as our guild was able to clear every raid available in a single night this week!
  • Daniel Whitcomb (@danielwhitcomb): I'll actually be out of town playing the role of Professor Frank (from the Professor Brothers, which is a decidedly NSFW but hilarious series of web cartoons) at a pretty rocking Halloween Karaoke party. Even so, I have to admit to a bit of WoW neglect the past few days. I've been deep into Mass Effect (yes, I know, years behind) and the Left 4 Dead 2 Demo (Ellis is awesome, I don't care what anyone else thinks).
  • Dominic Hobbs (@DMZduffry): Jaraxxus! Wilfred was a fool, now you will face me. Mwuhahahah!
  • Eddie Carrington (@Brigwyn): I'm playing the little dwarf that could. What's that you ask? It's the story of a little dwarf that tries and tries to complete at least 2 levels but always just manages to get halfway. The dwarf never gives up because he knows that as long as he keeps trying one day he'll eventually reach max-level.
  • Elizabeth Harper (@faience): Not doing any more Hallow's End since I got my Sinister Squashling today. Hooray!
  • Gregg Reece: I think I'm tanking something... not sure what. Otherwise, my weekend is filled with various SCA things.
  • Matt Low (@mattycus): Trying to come up with a strategy for the term paper boss. I'm fresh out of Caffeine flasks and Energy Drink elixirs. I have a feeling it's going to be more of a grinding boss and I won't be able to down it until well into the hours of the early morning. At the same time, will be hitting the recruiting forums looking for some extra DPS. Gonna be a busy weekend for this dwarf!
  • Matthew Rossi (@MatthewWRossi): I'm very sick. I may run some Horde PvP if I feel better, otherwise it's likely bedrest.
  • Robin Torres (@cosmiclaurel): I'll be continuing to do the Hallow's End Alt dance. I log on each alt in the Brill Inn, run out and get the fires quest, get the next alt. When all are quested, I put out the fires on my druid (travel mode bucket carrying FTW!). Then I go turn in the quests on each alt. Is this cheating? Maybe a little. But at least I do put out the fires on one character instead of just parking my character there until someone else does all the work, like SOME people I've seen... Of course, Saturday night we'll be taking our mini-witch to the mall for some safe trick or treating. Happy Halloween!

And now that you know what kind of trouble the WoW.com team is getting into this weekend, do tell us: what are you playing?
