I'd recommend not having Phase Shift on auto-cast when raiding. That way the little twerp doesn't miss out on raid buffs (last I looked, he can't get buffed if shifted). Buffs on him will make him less likely die and potentially increase his crit rate.

I agree, and I'm a big believer in making sure all pets are buffed and healed. They are a part of the raid and while lower priority they should not be ignored without good need.

This can't be up-rated higher, and you might want to mention it in an edit or maybe the next part of the series. When raiding you absolutely MUST turn off Phase Shift—otherwise, no buffs!

Imps share paladin buff with the warlock. What you get, imp gets. (provided not phased when the major blessing hits the lock).
Probably not news, but not all warlock pets work that way.
