Maintenance for Tuesday November 3rd

We need to be diligent here and note that there is absolutely no indication patch 3.3 will drop tomorrow. That event is still at least a few weeks off from all indications coming into WoW.com HQ.
Enjoy the downtime if you're not working -- go get some sun, eat a cheeseburger, do something off the game. It'll be leveling up in real life! Fun!

I would, considering that there are elements in the patch that require Battle.net, and the conversion deadline hasn't passed yet.

I think I'll just start an alt instead. *wink*

so, 3.3 is definitely dropping tomorrow then?
artifex Nov 3rd 2009 8:41AM
It had better not; I still haven't completed the Daily and Heroic Daily achievements, which will be turned into FoS (i.e., no longer available) in 3.3 :(

I am sure that before 3.3 drops, we will have a couple weeks of background downloads beforehand.
At least it seems like they do that for all the major content patches.

@Rialyn
Nah. I drops when Blizzard says it drops.

This is actually not regular maintenance, it's extended maintenance. Regular maintenance is usually six hours, not eight.
Just my .02......

Or get baked in the australian sun in sydney, where its 40C today.. :\
syco Nov 3rd 2009 5:26AM
104? That's pretty toasty.
(Seriously I had to convert that, it's very inconvenient being the only country that doesn't' use Celsius.)
ScorchHellfire Nov 3rd 2009 3:45AM
its starting a couple hours earlier than normal... =[
Shaverdian Nov 3rd 2009 4:05AM
Whatever, I might as well take the time to get better at Blazblue anyway.
Neinei Nov 3rd 2009 4:21AM
ah, no use for me to go home from work early.
Muse Nov 3rd 2009 4:55AM
And Europe is having 5 to 11 CET maintenance on Wednesday.
Also, water is wet.
Where'd Lesley go anyway?

I'm think about finally taking a break to blink (not on my mage, in real life :O i know!)

I've got those, "Woke Up Early, Can't Fall Back Asleep, Dammit WoW's on Maintenance Blues"
Brakelbee Nov 3rd 2009 7:51AM
PST not PDT.
Someone forgot to turn their clock back.

As a night shifter (11pm-7am) I REALLY detest Tuesday morning maintenance. I'm home from work, the kids are at school - geez, can't you just give us rolling restarts? This is my only uninterrupted WoW time!
I work at night - why can't BLIZZ do their work at night so it's done by 8am EST? "Oh, but the raiders are still raiding on the West Coast.." BAH. Make THEM QQ about not being able to play WoW for once.
Amaxe Nov 3rd 2009 11:06AM
Ah well. I was hoping to get in some time before my game card expires today (don't get paid until tomorrow). Guess I'll have to live without the game for a day.
Skonged Nov 3rd 2009 11:35AM
3 am to 11 am, or longer, maintenance means the patch is going live.
Can't wait....

Not a chance of 3.3 going live, way too much testing to be done. Also the blue posts about the summoning stone was just released a few hours ago, they're hardly going to write again tomorrow "alright kids, go get arthas" But it would be funny seeing all the realm first type guilds scrambling around to get people out of work to get it done first!
