They never said any of those things would never happen, they simply said they had no plans to implement them at the time.Personally I don't like this, I would prefer I were able to obtain anything possible in game without paying fees on top of my monthly subscription.However I understand it makes sense from a business point of view, of course it's a money making scheme, making money is what businesses do, Blizzard are not a charity. And this has been happening for a few years now with TCG so I really don't see what is so shocking.
