If everyone rolled need on these kinds of things, we wouldn't have these problems. Of course, in my guild, we use master looter, but were I the master looter, I still wouldn't ninja this. It may look cool, but Swift Flight Form is still an instant cast, and is thus better than all mounts in the game.

^ ThisSeriously, everyone wants this, so let everyone roll need on it. Let the RNG sort it out.

As a fellow druid I do think swift flight form is better than any mount. But having this mount would let swift flight move at 310% speed which would just make it that much cooler.

Exactly, thats what the loot system is there for ... when the Zulian Tiger mount dropped for a group I was in we all rolled Need and the winner gets it. No Ninja'ing possible.

Ah, but with the Onyxian mount being 310% speed, it would boost the effectiveness of your Swift Flight Form to match the 310% speed. May want to go read some past patch notes, my feathery friend

I know our Swift Flight Form's speed is increased when we have a 310% speed mount, but I am going for the Violet Proto Drake, and if I could choose between earning my 30% speed boost fair and square and soiling my reputation by doing so when they will both give the exact same result, I'll take the one that allows me to PUG in the future.

So, your reasoning for not rolling need is not because you don't want to screw everyone over, but because you have something better? And this post and the responses are being uprated? Maybe I'm misreading?

All I'd like to say is KUDOS x 10000 to the ML of the TK guild+pug run who rightly gave me (a pug) the Ashes of Al'ar for my roll of 100. A true man of character I'll say, to stand by one's principles and not just preach it.
