What would be the point? The only reason to have a mount like that is to show it off and impress people, but if you ninja it then word will get around and actually bringing out the mount wouldn't impress people - it would just remind them of what a jerk you are.

Not to mention that this mount is UGLY. The Onyxia model is terribly outdated, and I couldn't bring myself to replace a beautiful proto-drake for that thing, even considering the speed boost.

So true. On Bleeding Hollow there's a player who ninja'd the Ashes of Al'ar - everytime I see that mount I just think about him stealing it, instead of how cool it looks.
