A few questions for the queue today (or any posters more informed then I).
1)What is the most economic way to get the tokens needed for the heirloom leveling bonus equipment solo? My guild is incapable of running any instances, my friends aren't playing till 3.3 comes out and the only reason I'm playing is to prepare for a new character once Cataclysm comes out. Should I not waste my time since I lack the support and resources, or should I suck it up to deal with PUGs to get what I want?
2)Do we know or have a hint of where the Dwarf Shamans are coming from? One could easily point to the Wildhammer clan coming into play (woot) but one could also theorize that it could have some relation with the Titans/earth shattering re-awaking the Bronzebeard clan connections to the spirits.
3)Any word on new models for the player characters or more customization of the characters look?

Good questions. We'll hit the answers up to these three in the Queue on Monday. (And if I forget I fail, but I won't forget.)

Without emblems from heroics and raids, you'll be hard-pressed to get BoA heirlooms. Best way would be to do your Argent Tourney dailies for the seals, and run all the Wintergrasp weekly quests for Stone Keeper's Shards. The shard BoA gear is more PVP-statted than the emblem gear, but better than no heirlooms.
Also, people cuss PUGs out a lot, but I have a lot of terrific experiences in them. I'd PUG it out because it's less grindy than the other two ways, but that's me.

1) Argent Tournament and Wintergrasp for the Heirlooms. However, PuGs really are fine. You'll get a bad one every now and then, but it's definitely the minority. With the new LFG system in 3.3, puggng has never looked so good!
2) The dwarf totem art has already been released, and it has a very distinctive Wildhammer theme to it. I don't have the link, but there was even a blue post clearly stating that they were Wildhammer inspired. Given that, I'd say it's almost positive that Wildhammer Shamans will be teaching the Ironforge Dwarfs.

Dont forget about that ring coming out in 3.3 from the Kalu'ak fishing derby. It gives you 5% boost to XP, which is BAMF

I think you meant what is the fastest way to get BoA gear. If so, then I agree you just turn raid emblems into BoA gear.
If you really meant "economic" then I have a fuller answer, because I've been thinking about this myself. I have a bunch of leftover raid emblems I could turn into BoA gear, but the Honor emblems can be turned into epic gems and sold on the AH (for instance). The champions seals you get from AT dailies can be turned into faction mini-pets and sold. What is most "economic" would be to get your BoA gear with the least valuable currency and turn your more valuable currency(ies) into AH fodder. How it works out will depend on you realm's economy.

Indeed. PuGs have a very bad reputation, and it's a reputation they USED to deserve. I remember it being painful to get together a PuG for a heroic, and then it being hit-or-miss whether we'd get far in BC. Now, though, it's simple for people to get gear, and even less-skilled players do well enough in Heroics. I haven't been in a heroic PuG that actually failed in a LONG time. Not that I'm saying it can't happen, but your chances are much better now than they used to be.

Not sure about anyone else, but some of the best friends I've made in the game were from PUG runs. Learn the fights, know where not to stand, and be cool no matter how things go. I find that good groups are very willing to run something else and that just means more badges. If you don't know a fight, speak up. People in PUGs are much more helpful than you think. With the current level of gear out there, heroics are easy mode for most players you will be pugging with.
Pick 3 heroics you are interested in (start with the daily since it will be most popular) and use /lfg to put yourself in the queue for them. Someone will pick you up eventually. ;)

@jealouspirate: I would disagree about the very distinctive Wildhammer look of the totems since it's a hammer with green and gold wings ripped from the Ironforge dwarves icon (Icon of the Forge) with a few feathers strapped to the bottom with some leather. The only connection I see is the feathers which is a weak one since Ironforge dwarves have access to griffins already. To get the look of the totem all you would have to do is remove the shield and lightning bolts from Icon of the Forge, twist the hammer and move the wings up which makes me think Bronzebeard, not Wildhammer. I will see if I can track down the blue post about the Wildhammer influence.
@velutina: Want I meant by economic was fast with less hassle, saving on both time and gold. I was taken by surprise because a new author posted earlier then the other two authors so I thought I had more time to think out my questions before today's Queue.
@PUG Lovers: Guess I should get over my bad feelings of PUGs. My most recent memories of PUGs have been negative, but that was back in BC. Part of the problem as well is I don't feel I have the time to sit around looking for a group, wait for everyone to get ready, then actually run an instance.
Thank you all for your responses, I greatly appreciate it.

Regarding PUGs, it's a gear cycle thing. Now that many people significantly out gear the heroics one or two overgeared players can compensate for several undergeared/uniformed/unprepared players. This wasn't the case a year ago when WotLK came out. Back then there was much less margin for people to screw up. Today I ran a heroic ToC (5 man) with a pug. I was the tank and I had the highest dps and the most damage done. My DPS was ~2600, and the next 3 dps were like 2300, 1700, and 1500. A year ago you wouldn't have done a successful run in a heroic dungeon if the tank was out dpsing the dps by 50%.
For BoA gear I like the champion's seals. I can get 13 seals per day (10 from AT dailies, and 3 from H ToC), so in less than a week I can grab a new piece of BoA gear AND get some good gold for my main. On my main server I have a toon of every class (mostly lower levels) but I've got a +10% XP PVE shoulders and chest in plate, mail, leather, and cloth. I'm working on weapons and trinkets now.
I figure I should turn leftover Heroism emblems into epic gems, leftover Valor emblems into iLevel 213 BoE bracers, and Conquest emblems into Runed Orbs. That way I'll have gold for Expert/Artisan riding skill and flying mounts for my alts when they get to that point.
