"Should I not waste my time since I lack the support and resources, or should I suck it up to deal with PUGs to get what I want?"Not sure about anyone else, but some of the best friends I've made in the game were from PUG runs. Learn the fights, know where not to stand, and be cool no matter how things go. I find that good groups are very willing to run something else and that just means more badges. If you don't know a fight, speak up. People in PUGs are much more helpful than you think. With the current level of gear out there, heroics are easy mode for most players you will be pugging with. Pick 3 heroics you are interested in (start with the daily since it will be most popular) and use /lfg to put yourself in the queue for them. Someone will pick you up eventually. ;)
