do not enter if you are levels x0-x3 you won't be able to hurt the higher level players much and you won't be much help/

This is not always true. It certainly isn't ideal to be x3 or lower in a certain bracket, but you can be effective (to a certain extent) if and only if you know what value you can bring at that level. I don't think any flag runner would turn down any healer, even a very low level one, while trying to run the flag. Priests bubbles and Psycic Screams are very worth while, no matter what number you level ends in. Dispels can also be a godsend, and even holy nova to find rogues while on D can have use. Frost mages are still very effective at CC at lower levels of brackets. Yes, you have a high chance of missing and a high probability of dying, but you can provide value on D in WSG and in supporting a flag carrier. Do not, under any circumstances, forget to use counterspell, remove curse, and polymorph. All three are amazingly effective regardless of how you stack up to the bracket. Other healers can be effective, much like priests can (don't forget entangling roots, and Shamans have lots of totems that can be a pain in PvP). Rangers will always be a PITA in the lower brackets (until 50-59 bracket, when DKs start appearing). If you are an herbalist, use your instant cast heal over time, especially if you are low on stam. Its a huge, huge burst (I cast it right before I ice block). Most importantly, if you are under leveled for your bracket, play exactly how you would if you were undergeared - do not run around alone, or you will die. Expect to die, often. Worry more about CC and helping your teammates survive. It is pointless to try to lead the BG in damage done, and it is pointless to try to stay alive the whole time. Be a distraction and piss the other team off. Make them hunt you down. The more time they spend killing you, the less time they are spending on the flag carrier.

What makebooms says. It greatly depends on your class and how you play the BG!I played a WSG yesterday that had two lvl 11 enemy mages that seemed to manage to sheep our team half the time.I can add some low level warlock tips here:Fear! Use your Fear or Howl of Terror to get enemies off of the flag carrier (or any other player) or send the enemies' flagroom in a fear frenzy when you enter with your team to pick up the flag. Keep in mind that fear suffers from diminishing returns, which means that on one target the duration of your fear will be shorter each consecutive time you cast, and the target will become resistant to them after casting fear on them three times.Use Curse of Exhaustion to slow down flag carriers so that your teammates can catch up with them and kill them.Use Curse of Weakness to make enemies hit less hard on your teammates and lower their armor by a significant amount so they can be killed faster. If you play with your Succubus out, she can use Seduction which will take her target out for about 15 seconds. If you play with your Felhunter out, you can use him to Devour Magic, which will remove one harmful spell off of you/a teammate or one buff off of an enemy. Felhunters can also Spell Lock, which will silence your target. It is recommended that you keybind these abilities instead of having them on autocast, which will give you a much greater control of who to take out and makes sure your pet has not recently blown the cooldown on those spells when you need them. Also make sure (and this goes for any class) that you can survive as long as possible. Get the highest rank of Lifeblood you can get, bring health pots (mana too if you run OOM fast), maybe you can get gear that gives you health on use. Keybind it. For locks: aside from your regular life draining spells, don't forget to use Death Coil as a lifesaver, and when you have the Siphon Life talent, throw Corruption around as much as possible to get the healing benefits of that. You can also hand out healthstones to other players if you want. These are mostly only CC things, but as a low level warlock you can also do a LOT of damage just throwing your DoTs around helping out other players killing stuff faster. I often enter the BGs when my locks are at x2 or x3 level, and I still regularly find myself somewhere at the top of the lists. Not useless at all! :)

still. I play as a 29 rogue until i have ot level from winning, and its really easy to one shot these random people who are level 20 with 500 health. easy and yet pointless, i get no honor and it just adds to my tally of FC kills

If you have the right skills and pvp gear you can easily do well as a low level in your bracket. Ive been leveling both a hunter and lock through Bg's with an instance here and there and I usually can provide a lot of support and cap objectives/flags while still staying in the top few dps. I just comes down to skill, gear and communication, levels help but they aren't everything
