Patch 3.3 PTR: Shaman Tier 10
Just off the official preview page from Blizzard comes the Shaman tier 10 armor set, which will be released in patch 3.3. And we all haven't been waiting for this set long enough, have we?
The Shaman tier 10 set is called the Frost Witch, and this definitely fits with that motif. After looking closely at the image, Sacco and I think the horns of ice on the head and shoulders do not appeared to be textured, so that's something we have to look forward to being completed in the future.
The shoulders also feature what appears to be a two ghost-animals jutting out of them, very likely a periodic effect that we've previously seen in the BC warlock set.

Patch 3.3 is the last major patch of Wrath of the Lich King. With the new Icecrown Citadel 5-man dungeons and 10/25-man raid arriving soon, patch 3.3 will deal the final blow to the Arthas. Nice to see another "animation" on a tier set, everyone loved the Burning Crusade Fantasia-esque Warlock wings - I know I was jealous.

That alone makes up for having to wear another dress!

You, sir, win many internets.
Man, that set is so completely awesome. The sets with periodic animations are always my favorites. I'm going to have to start working a lot harder to get my shaman into my guild's alts raids.

I think this is the best of the set, so far.

Yesterday, I was thinking to myself, "Maybe Blizzard hasn't released the Shaman set yet because it is going to be the most awesome one?" Laughed about it for a bit and knew that it wouldn't be the reason.
Then this breaks.
One of the best looking tier sets in all of Wrath imo.

I hate to admit it but I agree... and Shamans are my least favorite class. >

no shoulder asteroids? no way!

This has to be a joke. I mean, I expect they'll add 100% more lava before it's actually released.
Seriously though - I really like it, and can't wait to see some of the other color choices / palettes they've been playing with for it. Only iffy part are those giant spirit animals - but I have a feeling they'll just be a neat subtle effect when actually in the environment.

Holy crap. I'd say that was worth the wait.... fab.
/roll shaman.
