Tier 10 armor set gallery

It looks like Blizzard really took their time on these sets. Some I may not like as much as others, design-wise, but they all have top-notch texture work and attention to detail. Check out the wool pattern on the shaman set, or the fiery brands on the warrior set, or the two-toed hunter boots. A lot of the sets are adorned with moving parts, too, like the druid shoulders, which snap and bite periodically. And most of them follow a very cohesive theme -- "stuff we've seen in Wrath up to this point." The warrior set should immediately remind you of King Ymiron, the rogue set is, well, a geist, and the death knight set might as well be called "Arthas Jr."
So, check out what you've got coming in Patch 3.3. With the new Dungeon System, a week or so of heroics will get you a full set of Tier 9 gear and get you all set to face Arthas, if you're up for it.

Am I the only one who thinks the T10 hunter helm looks like a boat? O.o
Damien Nov 10th 2009 1:25AM
More like a Rhino. Better than the UGLY druid D:
Baval Nov 9th 2009 5:18PM
personally, im reminded of a felguard
MightyMuffin Nov 9th 2009 5:28PM
At least its consistent with T9's theme of boats.
I'm on a boat...had to put that in there...let the flaming and QQ begin!
Also...at least hunter's set doesn't look nearly as bad as the rogue's set...all those awesome previous tiers...now reduced to wearing the mask of a geist...I bow to your awesome sauce, Blizzard. Vengence for those memorable moments of first learning PvP with a rogue on my rear every time I stepped into the battleground. I'm going to love rogue tears for quite some time...

Meanwhile Druids get a pair of dildos attached to their head.
Mithraeus Nov 9th 2009 6:36PM
Wait... the OP mentions the hunter armor, and you think the DRUIDS are the ones who get dildos?
Death knight, warrior, paladin, priest, warlock, shamn, and druid gear are kick-ass.
Rogues, hunters, and (most importantly :D) mages are getting the short end of Blizzard's Tier 10 stick. And I'm pissed.
Eternauta Nov 9th 2009 6:42PM
The Hunter set is supposed to be a Crypt Lord (like Anub'Arak).
It doesn't look so bad once you hide the helm.

Hunters look like Rhino from the Spiderman comics.

I'm a druid and would DIE for the Shaman T10... OH well
Natashya Nov 9th 2009 5:04PM
where's the hunter love? :(

I was hoping someone could remind me when it was that Blizzard said that hunters were no longer going to be wearing mail but instead they're getting the class specific wooden armor. Well, at least I don't have to worry about those enhancement shamans any more.

I only have one question.
Since the hunter's helm has a horn does that mean I can charge my targets and impale them? As a dwarf I would be at the perfect height.
Dreyja Nov 9th 2009 5:13PM
/roflmao - WIN!
Andrew R. Nov 9th 2009 5:06PM
Warlock helm is the best. I think all of the sets look good. Warrior with titan's grip or a shield wearing the T10 will be AWESOME!
Dreyja Nov 9th 2009 5:12PM
Yup, we hunters lost this time around. Meh... I likely won't ever get the whole set anyway. I do ADORE the shammy set.
LOL... I just remembered from the old Spider-man cartoons. Remember the bad guy, The Rino?! OMG That's totally what the hunter set looks like! ;) We really should get some kind of charge/stun bonus for looking this sill. ;)
I'm really not freaking out though. I like the texturing a lot. The organic feel of the mail is kind of cool. I know that designing armor sets can't be easy.

The Good:
Warlock
Shaman
Priest (at least for a shadow spec, I can't see black as being for healing)
The Decent:
Mage (Cmon blizz, I just want ONE great mage set? please?)
Warrior (Cool, but not great)
Death Knight (Cool, but again, looks kinda boring)
Rogue (At least, I can imagine without the helm. Really don't like that.)
The Bad:
Druid (wtf?)
Hunter
All in all, most of them are good. I feel like they could make some REALLY great sets though, why don't they? Paladin is cool but not fitting for the class. Idk, this is just imo, feel free to share yours.
Noah Nov 9th 2009 5:40PM
I agree that the paladin one doesn't really fit the class. I was expecting more light, and less fire.
Austin Nov 9th 2009 5:50PM
Definately agree. Why do warlocks always get the AMAZING sets? Their set fits their class better than anything.
Marolas Nov 9th 2009 5:50PM
I was under the impression that the Paladin class in particular was supposed to convey the power of the Light, especially seeing as we're facing the complete antithesis of the Light in Icecrown Citadel.
Granted, all of the armor coming out of Tier 10 looks like things we've encountered in Wrath, but I'm still scratching my head as to what I fought that resembles the Lightsworn armor.
To be completely honest, I think our armor looks like a Shaman tier-reject, and it saddens me that the idea of a Paladin, a "holy knight in shining plate armor" doesn't follow through to the conclusion of the Wrath of the Lich King storyline. (At least give us a recognizable version of a corrupted paladin, our armor could be a dark warlock or a dark shaman or a dark priest, etc.)
