PUG with the Blues 2: Electric Pugabloo

Just hop onto the Patch 3.3 PTR this Wednesday at 4 PM PST/7 PM EST and put your character into the random heroic Wrath dungeon queue. If you're lucky, you'll get grouped with someone with <GM> before their name and get to run a heroic with a dev!
This could be your only chance to use that funny quip you've been saving for a blue post reply, or to make sure that Ghostcrawler never lives down whatever off-the-cuff comment he made one time that everybody interpreted the way that they wanted. Just make sure to say it while he's busy doing something. Timing is everything.
Oh, and some WoW.com staff will be there too. So get your PTR client patched up and ready to go and let's. Get. Random.
Patch 3.3 is the last major patch of Wrath of the Lich King. With the new Icecrown Citadel 5-man dungeons and 10/25-man raid arriving soon, patch 3.3 will deal the final blow to the Arthas. I got to group with one Gm, but because the LFG's a little broke on the PTR when it comes to specific queueing it failed and I didn't actually get to run with him. Overall though, it was good to at least see a gm. Might join in depending on guild status.

Doesn't this mean that a bunch of immature people will get into groups, leave, and get into them again until they get into a group with a GM?

Happened a lot on the first day yes, and it is bound to happen again. Ignore them, re queue, and move on.

I hope this is exactly what happens. in fact, if anyone is able to do this, please do. Attempt to exploit the loot system in anyway that you can, just like ninja's in real pugs. Wait to roll then need. Always need on the frozen orb. Just be as annoying as possible over loot, so the gm's can see and possibly come up with ways to prevent this from happening off the ptr.

Yes! I will be around for this one. I wasn't able to PUG with them last week because I had RL things to do. I did catch the end of the mayhem when Zarhym summoned VoA bosses in IF. I'm looking forward to trying to PUG with them using a copy of my own character.
