Sky Nov 11th 2009 11:32PM
Oh God when will blizz realize that we resto shammies want haste and not crit and mp5.... 25 ToC dagger is better than that mace....
Avister Nov 11th 2009 11:37PM
Probably wrong but the warrior/pally tanking weapon could be a shield so people who have Quel'Serrar can use it with the Quel'Delar shield. I think it would be neat though.
LilBanshee Nov 12th 2009 8:34AM
'The Quel'Delar shield'? Huh?
Byronius Nov 12th 2009 9:34AM
Actually, this^^^
I doubt it would happen, but it would be awesome if Prot Warriors and Pallys could get a shield at turn in. A lot of people complain about how hard it is to get a shield at times and this idea would be awesome. Don't know if it could/ would happen, but it would be awesome.

Honestly, all these stats are starting to bore me, there are no fun things anymore.

I have to say, after reading the astonishing amount of QQ'ing here, if I was the CEO of Activision Blizzard, I'd be pretty close to saying "you know what, it's not worth a billion dollars a year to have to put up with these whining babies, I'm shutting the game down."
Cyno01 Nov 12th 2009 12:01AM
No such thing as a 2h tanking sword, blizz said so. So this will be a nice upgrade for my 2h tank DK.

Wait, so you get this from running a quest in 5-mans? That is sweet. I am kind of surprised its ilevel is so high. I thought the loot coming out of the new 5 mans was going to be ilevel 232.
Finnicks Nov 12th 2009 12:33AM
I don't think the lack of a tanking weapon is strange at all.
Based upon the 30% dodge nerf in ICC and Blizzard's statements about excessive mitigation ruining the healing experience, I'd say it was a deliberate thing not to include a mitigation weapon.
There should be no need for a +def weapon now. At these high item levels the budget for defense on other gear slots is more than enough to reach the cap.
And putting out a sword w/ mitigation would defeat their purpose in nerfing dodge in the first place.
Rick Nov 12th 2009 1:02AM
Dodge =/= mitigation. Dodge=avoidance, mitigation=armor/block.
Yes, I am sitting really high currently with my defense rating on my tankadin, and I have nothing gemmed/enchanted for defense right now. That does not mean that I would not like a tank weapon. I would love to see something perhaps with less defense and perhaps more armor on it...something more like Crusader's Glory is. Meh, until I get that to drop on heroic 10 ToC or one of the tribute weapons I will stick with my burnished Quel, looks a ton better then many of the other weapons out there, does the job, proc is up like 80% of the time, and not really that many weapons better for a tankadin at this moment.
Charneldeath Nov 12th 2009 5:02AM
Again with the non tanks speaking as if they understand ICC Radiance. It's been explained enough I thought folks would understand. You're basically saying casters have enough SP, so they shouldn't get a reward.
First off, this is from a 5 man. Most people who would really want a weapon of this ilevel are casual, who I assure you are unaware of what Mitigation, EH, and Avoidance are. Even with high Avoidance, its from a 5 man, and tanking 5 mans is EZsauce with or without high ilevel gear.
It sucks every class/spec couldn't get served, but again it's from a 5 man that drops a metric asston of epics. I assume it would be pretty easy to find an alternative.
