WTF, no tanking weapon? Every other spec catered for but Tanks left out? Further proof Blizzard takes no consideration or care over this game and just throws out content.

What are you whining about? Roll an elemental shaman if you think you have it bad.

Call me crazy here... but by this item level do you really need a sword with defense on it? Seriously? There's SO MUCH defense on all the other gear you shouldn't have ANY PROBLEM getting defense capped w/o a defense weapon.
And before you start whining about other mitigation stats... have you not been paying attention to the massive 30% dodge nerf in ICC? Blizzard is getting annoyed by tanks gearing for tons of mitigation.
So why does it surprise you that there is no version of this sword with mitigation stats?

I'm not sure about Paladins but Warriors gimp themselves pretty badly by using a DPS weapon. They usually swing much slower than the 1.8 second swing of a proper tanking weapon, which means 40-50% fewer Heroic Strikes (#1 threat ability). Threat would take a huuuge hit.

First off, its not Mitigation, its called Avoidance. Mitigation is Armor and BV. Avoidance is Dodge/Parry/Miss. The Dodge nerf is not a nerf cause tanks are OP, it was nerfed because Blizz scaled the gear too high too fast, and unless bosses hit like a train, tanks aren't in danger of dying. However hitting like said train, two unlucky hits in a row (due to the whole high dodge thing) a tank gets gibbed. By nerfing dodge and allowing tanks to get hit more often, boss melee damage is reduced, less tank gibs happen and healers can keep their hair in place.
You're calling out Shadow Priests and Boomkins saying MP5 isn't an unwanted stat also shows a lack of understanding of basic game mechanics. MP5 is the absolute worst stat for any DPS caster, and just about every one at this point has class/spec mechanics for mana regen. MP5 is a healing stat, pure and simple.
Before you snag an attitude and attempt to slam folks comments, maybe you should learn some basics before doing so. It's pretty low class and moronic.
