Would that mace be any good for druid tanking? Same question goes for the two-hander sword and DKs. If so, pallies and warriors may have a hope.

The mace looks pretty typical of a druid tanking weapon.

Not so much DK, but I'm pretty sure it's the best non-raid DK tanking weapon, simply from raw iLevel.

Regarding pre-raid weapons for DK tanks, just set up a dual-wield frost tank spec. Patch 3.3 is making the defense glyph usable on 1-handers for half the effect each, making 2-handers no longer the only practical way to tank at a low gear level.

Quel'Delar, Might of the Faithful = 164 stamina, 164 strength

2x Peacekeeper Blade (5-man HToC) with epic stamina gems = 198 stamina, 58 dodge, 46 parry, 42 expertise, 62 strength

And of course there are even better tanking weapon drops in the new 5-mans.
