Cataclysm Question:If you have an achievement which comes with a title, what will happen in Cataclysm? For example, if someone has the "explorer" achievement, will it become a feat of strength? There is now more to explore. Will they lose their title?

I'm thinking all the titles that are specific for Wrath raid content, such as Twilight Vanquisher, Starcaller, and whatever achievement titles the Lich King will have, will probably be unattainable, much like Hand of A'dal and Champion of the Naaru. However, we can't exactly be sure until Cataclysm actually comes out. Fact is, Wrath has more titles than TBC ever had, thanks to the achievement system. As far as "Explorer" goes, I doubt they'd get rid of the title...it would just be longer [but easier] for people to attain in Cataclysm.

Most likely a new tier will be added with a slightly different name like "The cataclysmic explorer" or something more sensible. It will still be possible to explore all the zones for the achievement, it just so happens some of the Azerothian ones might be a little different.

My recollection is that Blizzard has said that they don't intend to take titles or achievements away from players in Cataclysm - and that while the suggestion to change them (e.g., "Bob the Old-World Explorer") is interesting, they probably won't implement that either.
