Cataclysm question: As it stands what, if anything, is liable to happen with the Burning Legion in Cataclysm? I was surprised we didn't see more of them in Northrend (as the Lich King/Scourge is sort of their creation, right?) and it'd be interesting to see them a bit more visible again in Cataclysm. Perhaps even battling Deathwing's forces for control of Azeroth.Sorry if this is a question of the utmost newb-ery caused by my missing something important in the game lore.

Whilst you're right that the Lich King and the scourge were a creation of the legion, the lIch King out and out cut all ties with the Burning legion and has rebelled against them. The burning legion have very little place at all to be in Northrend as they would be attacked by both the Horde/Alliance as well as the Scourge... not terribly wise. That said i think they do have a minor presence there.Additionally Blizzard simply didn't want to distract players from the true threats of Wrath, Namely the Lich King but also Yoggles.I wouldn't be suprised if we saw some Burning legion presence in Cataclysm as it'd be foolish for them not to try and take advantage of Deathwing's outburst(as they have done in the past) but again i doubt Blizz will give them a big part as it would distract from the Deathwing/ Elemental planes story lines, etc.

I think I read something about the changes coming to Desolace an the covens there being successful in their attempt to summon demons/burning legion. So I think it safe to say we'll see some legion stuff on cataclysm.
