The Queue: No

For the curious, the original title of today's edition of The Queue was "The Queue: Adam if you skip me and write a Queue today I'm going to shiv you IRL because I'm seriously not still asleep and will have it written in a couple of hours." Luckily, he didn't skip me, so he gets to live another day.
Terethall asked...
"Will the newer 5-mans (ToC and the Icecrown Citadel 5-mans) be included in the random dungeon tool in 3.3?
Because it seems like a huge difficulty difference when you could go from extremely easy instances like Heroic CoS to extremely difficult (comparatively) Heroic instances like ToC and the IC instances."
Yes, they will be included, but Blizzard has mentioned here and there that the tool will be smart about that sort of thing. You'll need a certain level of gear for it to throw you at Heroic Trial of the Crusader or Heroic Pit of Saron. If you're a brand new 80 that's mostly wearing greens and auction house bought blues, it's much more likely to stick you into a Heroic Utgarde Keep run (for example) than it is one of the more recently added dungeons.
tyler asked...
"Do you think we'll be seeing Cho'gall as a raid boss when Cataclysm launches? He seems to be featured in the comics as a leader of the Twilight's Hammer, empowered by C'Thun. Do you think C'Thun will reemerge as a raid boss as well?"
I have very little doubt Cho'gall will be a raid boss in Cataclysm, unless the comic goes right on ahead and kills him off. Considering the comic splits into Horde and Alliance stories focusing more on the little guys in a couple of issues, I'm not sure there's time for it. Cho'gall will probably be to Deathwing what Kel'thuzad was to the Lich King, or Lady Vashj was to Illidan.
As for C'Thun, from what I understand he's just something of a disembodied force right now. It's probably much more likely that we'll see his influence creeping around for awhile rather than straight fighting him in Cataclysm. I could be wrong.
Rexton asked...
"What's the proper way to eat a chicken wing?"
I don't know what this has to do with WoW, but here you go.
Mihn asked...
"Why did they remove the Bulwark flight path? I know there had to be one there at one time. Any time you fly from UC to anywhere in EP-WP it swoops low over the bulwark as if it was going to stop there at one time."
I'm pretty sure the Bulwark has never had a flight path. The first character I ever played was an Undead Rogue, and the Bulwark certainly didn't have one back in 2004. However, it is getting one in patch 3.3. So as far as I know, it was never removed, but they are adding one.
Nathan asked...
"We haven't seen any serious queues in quite a while... Isn't it time to re-name this feature to something else?"
No.
Vjax asked...
"Are there any daily quests on the PTR for the Ashen Verdict?"
No.
Rarewulf asked...
"Using the new LFG system, will you be able to queue up for dungeons below your level? Say, I'm level 80 and want to queue for Magisters Terrace. Is that possible?"
No.

Is the data mining that mmo-champ does against the TOS? Does Blizzard approve of it?
t0xic Nov 12th 2009 3:11PM
Don't you think they would have had a cease and desist letter by now? =)
sikyon Nov 12th 2009 3:22PM
You can't put something on someone's hard drive and then prevent them from looking at it.
kabshiel Nov 12th 2009 3:29PM
I'm sure Blizzard wishes that nobody did any data-mining, but they're not going to punish you for it. Just don't post on the official forums about it.

"Using the new LFG system, will you be able to queue up for dungeons below your level? Say, I'm level 80 and want to queue for Magisters Terrace. Is that possible?"
No.
Wrong.
You're able to queue up for instances of lower levels.
Flavio Nov 12th 2009 3:13PM
Yeah, I'm pretty sure you can
(cutaia) Nov 12th 2009 3:17PM
As far as I had heard that was originally the case, but eventually was changed. Are you basing this off of a recent usage of the LFG tool?
Honestly, I really hope we're able to do this (if not now, eventually). I'd love to get some hassel free Outland heroics done for rep.
Lemons Nov 12th 2009 3:23PM
I hope so...but it still won't help those wanting to simply teleport to an instance and solo it will it? You'll have to be matched up with 5 other people before you can enter, am I right? And if you try to drop group or leave it will teleport you back to were you were before.
schmO Nov 12th 2009 4:05PM
I thought you could put yourself as looking for a group for any instance/raid in the game, but you could only queue for a random group with instances/raids within your level.
cyfoeth Nov 12th 2009 4:11PM
They better allow you to queue for lower level dungeons, or I'll send them an email every minute I'm forced to sit around waiting for a group to go do them. Rawr.
Just because I won't get any useful loot out of Molten Core, doesn't mean my level 80 doesn't want to see the place and run through it.
I'd be perfectly happy if it required you to group with other 80's... or if they did a City of Heroes kind of artificially lowering your level to fit the dungeon while in the instance.
Alex Ziebart Nov 12th 2009 4:30PM
If I'm wrong I'll totally own up to it in the next Queue. Last time I looked though, you could only see instances in your level range.
