You should write "Patch 3.3 has been out on the PTR for about a month and a half now" else you'll get people confused..

You have covered every single major patch with optimism and enthusasism. And we thank you, would you like to give your best educated guess as to when soon(tm) might arise. Obviously it's not happening on tuesday... these releases arent so closely superceded by a new build on the PTR... but based on raiding schedules and past near release notices (such as background downloaders 1-2 weeks before)
Educate a guess, just a guess no more no less.

=)
My gut tells me either Nov. 24th or Dec 1st.
I really don't have any info from official sources at the time however, so that's just my gut feeling.

:D that's all i was asking for. 2 weeks away was my guesstimate ... which put's it on nov 24... (great minds?)

Oh I hope this turns out to be true. I'd love to make great use of the new LFG tool over Thanksgiving weekend.
Clevins Nov 12th 2009 1:17PM
Not, I think, the 24th. There's too high a chance of issues and it's a holiday week with a lot of people planning to travel etc and be off. Sure, we might want to play, but I doubt the Blizzard people want to work over the holiday weekend if there are issues.
Dec 1st. Maybe the 8th depending on how things look stability-wise.

When should we expect the patch to drop? Pre-Thanksgiving or before the Christmas break?

Question:
I see dwarf shammy totems in the Shaman guide. Will we be able to do race changes for them come patch 3.3 or is that Cataclysm?
Hedwinkle Nov 12th 2009 10:19AM
I highly doubt blizzard will let the race changes include the new class/race combo's...It kind of defeats the point of them remodelling Azeroth just for everyone to pay for a swap (Which we all know most people would do)

Nope, the reason for linking the totem gallery in this post is that orcs and trolls are getting new totems in 3.3.
Much as I want my dwarf shaman right now, we're all stuck waiting for Cataclysm.

The healer priest T10 set bonuses are horrible.
The healer weapon from the quel-serrar turn-in has MP5S and 0 spirit.
The healer ring from Ashen Verdict has MP5S and 0 spirit.
Priests & Resto Druids need to start kicking over virtual tables & chairs. Our complaints will of course be overwhelmed by the millions of paladin voices crying out as if in great pain, and then suddenly going silent as they realize they're still OP when the patch drops.

"the sheer of content" :) I assume you meant you meant to have amount there :)
Freak Mojo Nov 12th 2009 11:59AM
Oh well. I really want a dwarf toon. Guess I'll go ahead and pull the trigger on my Drae to dwarf hunter change.
Thanks for the info!

The first time I saw that screenshot, I was convinced that Dwarf DK was wielding a hockey stick.
Stormsurge Nov 12th 2009 4:50PM
Ha ha, that is the exact same thing I thought as well.

I was wondering why the dwarf was wearing T5 warlock shoulders.
