Whatta? ALL pro-arena comments are commented down...
Guys, be resonable, if you can't be competitive in some part of the game, it doesn't mean it has to be removed.

It's not about not being able to be competitive, it's about not giving a damn about arena, not wanting anything to do with it, and crippling changes catered solely to arena "balance" STILL seeping into our part of the game and completely ruining us.
If people want to play arena, fine. I won't, and never cared to, but the fact that I have now had to level a new main at least three times because my previous one was hopelessly broken in PvE and battlegrounds for the sake of arena players crying over balance in arena is frustrating and I have had it and I'm glad Blizzard finally admits the whole thing was, to put it mildly, "their bad."

Mate, NOTHING in the matter of balance is anywhere that important as balance issues in arenas. If you said you rerolled because of arena fixes, you sound a bit like a paranoic. Because of what? You had Rejuv ticking 3 times instead of 4? Get out. Cast it again, you have countless time & mana to do that in the raid, as well as 6 or 7 other peeps covering your ass if you fail to do it fast enough.
They don't say that arenas are bad, read carefully. They say it's going harder and harder to keep balance betweeen PvP/PvE, because in the core system arenas were not planned, and they didn't expect that much time/work to make it finally work, and they see a lot more to make it work as it should.

Shoehorning classes into being balanced, even, 1-on-1 damage dealers where most were never, ever intended to be, effectively ignoring the intended role of most classes and inhibiting their ability to perform those roles everywhere else in the game, all to cater to one of the smaller niches of the population is "THE MOST IMPORTANT BALANCE ISSUE" in WoW?
Something about that doesn't seem right...can anyone else put their finger on it?
"You had Rejuv ticking 3 times instead of 4? Get out."
There's a BIG difference between having a DoT/HoT tick one less time and having your damage-per-second DROP by 500-1,000 or more from one patch to the next, despite using the same gear and the best possible DPS talents in that spec and knowing the class inside and out. The former is a non-issue, the latter is CRIPPLING. The former is not the result of arena "balancing," the latter IS.
