"They don't like people who pick other people up on bad grammar/spelling/punctuation, likely because (as Sleute says) they take it personally." Most people scroll down after reading an article because they want to read more about the topic at hand. The post was down-rated because the very first thing we read when scrolling to discussion about the topic is some twit making a 1 character quip and a lame line.
