You can get both the Green and Purple Illidari Tabards at the same time. I just did what one commentor said (complete the quest, get the box, look but don't open, get the other from the tabard vendor, then open the box) and I got two Illidari tabards out of the deal. I did have to log out and back in to make them appear, but that was 15 minutes worth of work for 2 tabards towards this achievement!
