"Question: I just hit 63. With WotLK extending the cap to 80, is Aldor vs. Scryer such a big decision anymore? Also, should i worry about grinding rep to get lvl 70 gear, or will it all be replaced by greens in Northrend?"
I disagree with Sacco here, but not fully. Hes right when he said you shouldnt bother to grind to exalted, but take the 10 minutes it takes to do the choosing quest, and the handful of quests afterwards. I would personally choose Scryer no matter what seeing as they have that awesome library at the top that will help bridge your profession leveling from pre-BC to BC. Also, if you return to SMV at 80 to work on a Netherdrake mount, the home base there is EXTREMELY close to the Netherdrake dailies.
TLDR: Take the time to choose Scryer, but dont waste time grinding to exalted for patterns/gear.
