Why would they be asking wow.com instead of the company they purchased said subscriptions from?

Same reason people ask them about other things that the WoW.com staff can only guess about or look up themselves.

Looking forward to the mag. Signed up as soon as you guys posted about it day of BlizzCon. I was actually wondering about this issue myself. Dug through my email yesterday to make sure I got the right address.
