The problem I see with your reasoning Andrew is that you come off as arrogant, thinking you're better than anyone else and no one deserves to work with you. There's a time to go solo (Rogues make good scouts, for instance) and a time to work as a team.
Just because you can go it alone doesn't mean you can't give feedback. But NOBODY does, which is why PUG groups fail. People rush in and do whatever they like, don't tell anyone where the FC is at or what base is being overrun and instead, say nothing at all. Then blame everyone else when their faction loses.
There's a difference between leading and informing people of certain details. Telling the rest of the team where the flag carrier is, where the majority of the enemy is, is a base is being overrun - these aren't taking leadership, this is REPORTING to your TEAM.
If you wanna win get your head out of your ass and work as a damn team. You don't go to a 25-man raid thinking you can solo it and you're better than the rest, do you? Because, if you do, you're extremely naive. I believe WoW is about teamwork, regardless if you think so or not many aspects of the game take a great deal of teamwork.
