How many old gods does it take to screw in a light bulb?

None, they destroy the lightbulb and everything else in a solar system radius.

Two, one to hold the light bulb, and one to turn the universe to screw it in.

I would answer, but the true number cannot be read by mortals without driving them irreparably insane.

None. It's the Titans have the job to screw in light bulbs. The Old Gods spend the rest of eternity trying to screw them back out.

I get the feeling the Old Gods in general would be incapable of screwing in a light bulb. I mean, those tentacles don't seem to be made for fine motor skills. I suppose if one of the next Old Gods we meet is the 'beast of a thousand hands' or something he might be able to do it.
Incidentally, I think Blizzard might have painted themselves into a corner with the eye and mouth motif on C'thun and Yogg-Sarron. They really don't have many other intimidating body parts left. The 'beast of a thousand noses' is less horrifying and intimidating and more ridiculously hilarious.

Easy, none.
Old gods have tentacles, and lightbulbs make their tentacles dry out. Have you ever tried to apply hand lotion to 50+ ft of tentacles? Thats a lot of work, and a lot of gold.

None... they'd drive the lightbulb insane until it was convinced it should unscrew itself.

I can think of one more body part it would be terrifying for a giant monster to have a thousand of, though I suppose it's not likely in a T-rated game like WoW…
