WoW, Meh?
jellyphish Nov 17th 2009 9:17AM
err..so is that the end of Byron?
Eternauta Nov 17th 2009 12:51PM
I hope so.
I didn't find the tauren rogue funny at all. I'd like the comic if the character was less cliché.
I mean, what's next? Saurfang facts? Chuck Norris jokes?
Tauren Warlock on the other hand, seems interesting...

@Eternauta
Give the story some time to get off the ground! You've only read two pages, one of which was essentially an intro. Give it some time before you judge it too harshly, okay?
Like Rainee Sue said, this is more like a comic you'd pick up from an actual store, that contains pages upon pages of telling the story.
Personally, I thought it was a cute beginning. it certainly pulled me in, and as big fan of WoW, Eh? I cannot wait to read the rest :D

"nutter than squirrel droppings", that is funny!
Xirifus Nov 17th 2009 9:22AM
hmm.. it looked like somewhat more "unfinished" than the first one..
(In my opinion, at least)

Any chance the gallery can auto-magically pop to the hi-rez version? It's hard to read.
Cadychan Nov 17th 2009 10:01AM
Not sure if the gallery can, but if you click the image header, it'll link you to the hi-res version. :3

"Would've have to have"...That one really threw my brain into a loop for a second. Isn't that saying "would have have to have"?
sprout_daddy Nov 17th 2009 9:57AM
It is - I believe it was supposed to be "would have had to have". So much to proofread, so little time.
I assumed the human would just smell Byron behind - the stench from a Cow dressed all in leather (which in itself is an irony worthy of a comic) would seem to be a bigger problem for a Tauren Rogue than being 650 pounds - one would assume he's gotten used to that at some point.

Yeah, I hate to do this since I really like your work, but.. yeah...
"That human would have to have been blind..."
is the most correct version.
"would've have" is just WAY wrong, like uber-Fail.

Aw, give some love to Tauren Rogues guys!
mtsadowski Nov 17th 2009 9:43AM
That's it?
That started out as good as Batman Begins... but then it ended up like Batman Forever.
nyenna Nov 17th 2009 9:49AM
haha, i love it. cant wait for next one. fun drawings too! :) great way to start the day ei!
Rainee Sue Nov 17th 2009 9:52AM
Christ on a cracker, people, it's the SECOND PAGE. This isn't a punchline-a-day thing like WoW Eh? usually is. Give the damn story time to HAPPEN before you start bitching.
Xandari Nov 17th 2009 10:35AM
No kidding. But, there are always the instant-gratification sorts out there. (The same folks who cause good TV shows to be killed off in the middle of the first season without letting it develop.)
I personally look forward to seeing more because there's obviously more to this story. :)
Dreyja Nov 17th 2009 4:01PM
Exactly! Holy cow people... it takes time to develope the story. **Grumble grumble**
Back off my fellow Canadian or I'll get all... apologetic on your butts! Yeah! Release the MOOSE, and GEESE! MWAHAHAHhhaaa! /cough
;) ;-p
I can't wait to meet the other characters. :D Keep it up girl!
Mordockk Nov 17th 2009 9:52AM
At first glance of reading the text I thought Byron farted and the guard heard him!! >.<
He said 'hold it' like he was holding it in.
haha farts are funny.
Elionene Nov 17th 2009 9:53AM
I like it. :D
Door's open for a lot of possibilities. I can picture a group of horde sitting around a fire sharing stories and the troll is laughing at someone's description of a Tauren Rogue. I'm looking forward to see how it goes from here

Telling a story nobody believes? How udderly humiliating.
