Breakfast Topic: What falls away

Her brow furrowed as the list of upcoming features for Cataclysm scrolled by.Finally, she exhorted me to discover just what had happened to customizable dances. She also forced me to do an imitation of the voice over from the trailer if it were the only way anyone could talk. "I need to go raid the bathroom of unremembered eternity " I said in my best Chris Metzen as I considered her question. What did happen to customizable dances?
Or Stormwind Vault, for that matter? It's been in the game files since the game launched, but we've never heard a peep out of the place. It looks likely we'll get to raid Tol'Barad before we set foot inside the Vault. So now I'll ask you, what didn't make it into the game that still leaves you wondering, why?

The area under Karazhan, accessible if you can persuade a friendly warlock to duel you and fear you through the bars of the gate blocking it...

The upside down sinners room is one of the creepiest things in game... so sad it's hidden away.

Yes! Crypt! If that never becomes anything, I'll be baffled and saddened.

It's going to be implemented now of course, but ever since launch I've looked upon the gate to Hyjal in Winterspring with sadness. But now we finally DO get to visit Hyjal! (Albeit, a burnt-down, unrecognizable Hyjal...)

Bard-Oh wait
I'm a little sad that Shatterspear was never really "Introduced" True we can go to it in Cataclysm, but then all the dancing trolls will be gone and the Night Elfs would have moved in. I guess the party has to come to a close some day?

I think SV is one of the major ones that comes to mind when you wonder, "what happened to it". I haven't played WoW in some months though, so I'm sure that there are more important ones that come to mind.(i.e. A couple quest lines I've done in classic that were never finished)

Like the Eranikus chain. I gave up one of my first trinkets I ever recieved so I could... Talk to some old man? Bah.

The continuation of the emerald dream questline from Sunken Temple. And those 4 old world portals to the dream that are disabled but patrolled by the world dragons.

I haven't finished it myself yet, but as I understand there's a rather massive chain in Silithus that returns to dealing with the dragons and the emerald dream. I'm not sure it happens anymore, but I believe at one point even Malfurion played a part in a short return from the Dream as part of the chain. It was the AQ gates chain, but I'm still not sure myself how far it goes now. I'll be trying to find out before Cataclysm though.

"Defias Strip miners in the Deadmines."
I had always mentioned whenever I ran that if they were named for what they were of what they do....

I always wanted to see more about, and it might be coming given Algalon, why the titans get to go around deciding what life should look like other than that they're the biggest guys around. Certainly the life on Azeroth is not what they intended, or at least from Ulduar it looks that way, yet we seem to be doing pretty well.
Nawaf Nov 19th 2009 11:13PM
Life on Azeroth is deffinitely not what they wanted it to be. The well of eternity doesn't exist anymore, along with 80% of the land on Azeroth. All of Northrend and half of the continent of Lordreon is taken by the undead (scourge and forsaken). Some of the continent of Azeroth is destroyed by Ragnaros. A number of zones are destroyed by the burning legion, espacialy the blasted lands and isle of quel'danas. Two of their creations were affected by the curse of flesh. Two of their cities are destroyed (uldaman and ulduar) and I don't know what will happen to uldum. There are a number of races that the titans created on other planets which will surprise them for seeing them on Azeroth, including Orcs, Draenei, and most of demonic races. They will also be surpriesed for seeing races they haven't seen before, including humans, elves (espacialy sindorei), and naga. The five aspects aren't doing well either. Naltharion is crazy and evil. Malygos is dead. Nozmundu the timeless (speculation) became evil and went on to change time in order to keep away from the day he will die (it's complicated). As for Ysera, there's the emerald nightmare of course. The only aspect who doesn't have any inside problems is Alexstraza
.
In short, Azeroth is forever ruined by the old gods or by Sargares, or any of the followers of the two.

The cessation of Arena nerfs impacting raiding.
Also, to the guy that wants strippers: Go to the Goldshire Inn sometime. Remember to take your gold, but not your self respect.
