WoW Moviewatch: Castle In The Sky
Castle in the Sky by Zimtower is a short, sweet and beautiful music video. It's somewhat referencing Dalaran as a castle in the sky, but is really more focused on the idea of a "happy place" where each person can revisit their own childhood. And yes, that's totally a reappearance from the fun gnome from Cloud 9.
It's a pretty short video, so I wouldn't recommend trying to read too much into it. However, Zimtower has done an amazing job animating his gnomes so that they actually line up against the song's lyrics. The video is beautiful, with a whimsical color palette that serves to magnificently reinforce the song's message.
Ultimately, this is a great video. I had a fun time watching it, and expect it to be one of my go-to "pick me up" films in the future.

Some of the best facial animation I've seen in a WoW Machinima...

I watched this video (I mostly don't like machinima type videos...I find them mostly creepy) to see if this was some vague reference to Hayao Miyazaki's classic Tenkû no shiro Rapyuta (Castle in the Sky). I'm still not sure if the video or the tracked used is. As the author implied, it's very short...so there's not a whole there to determine that with.
Speaking of short, we Gnomes really don't sing like that. We don't quite have the evolved resonating vocals cords of adult Human females. :)

There's a Baron Soodson vid exactly like this one. It's like it's a new, disturbing genre.
Step 1: Female Gnomes
Step 2: Techno Music
Step 3: ???
Step 4: Profit!

Really the best flip flapping I've seen in machinama since RETURN. The full song is around 3 minutes if I recall. DJ Satomi "Castle in the Sky", not to be confused with Ian Van Dahl Castles in the Sky.
If you also like DJ Satomi, Wonderland is pretty good too.
