Second Mr. T mohawk commercial launches
Blizzard is milking Mr. T's mohawk for all its worth in yet another ridiculous commercial. At the risk of being a complete downer, I have to ask: Is anybody else bored with this campaign? I admit that I laughed and laughed at the original Mr. T WoW commercial (and probably contributed to this campaign's birth) but enough is enough. Are you advertising World of Warcraft or a line of Mr. T hair care products?
Anyway, you can watch the commercial above and if you weren't yet aware of it, you can pick up mohawk grenades in the various starter zones throughout Azeroth. But please, for my sanity and your safety, don't throw them at me. There might be repercussions if you know what I'm sayin'.

I liked it. Much better than that horrible Game Fuel commercial, but definitely not as funny as the first of these.

I liked the Game Fuel commercial honestly.

What was the problem with the game fuel commercial? Maybe I didn't read the same forum threads telling me it was horrible.
Qot Nov 22nd 2009 11:01PM
The druid started attacking with caster form melee. It's just unrealistic.
Zeplar Nov 22nd 2009 11:05PM
I'm usually a blizzard fanboy but I feel like they found the only rapper who'd sink low enough to advertise for them and now they're just milking him
greenthumbs Nov 22nd 2009 11:18PM
Rapper!? I pity you fool.
Dreadskull Nov 23rd 2009 12:25AM
First one was definitely better.
Seems like Blizzard's -really- trying to promote the game more.
Jorges Nov 23rd 2009 12:48AM
@ Zeplar: rapper? Mr. T should punch you in the face.

"At the risk of being a complete downer, I have to ask: Is anybody else bored with this campaign?"
You're not only a player, you're someone who (I assume) reads about the game extensively. So you're not just exposed to Mr. T., you're overexposed... if such a thing is possible.
So, yeah, I'm not laughing as much as I used to, but my fiance -- who doesn't play WoW -- loves it. Which is likely the target audience.
And yes, that was a complete downer. I'd downrate your post if I could :)

The Game Fuel commercial was so incredibly unrealistic. What hot female chick would play a male orc? I'm sure there are like, 100 *total* and that's optimistic. I've known women with male tauren, male blood elves, male night elves and male humans, but never once with a male orc.
Deadly. Off. Topic. Nov 23rd 2009 10:23AM
I find it odd that people are ripping on the "realistic" part regarding spells and "oh a woman wouldn't play an ugly male" when they're NOT even pointing out the fact they're fighting in a freaking supermarket.
I liked the commercial itself, I thought it was funny.
Qazaam Nov 22nd 2009 8:06PM
I think it's hilarious! I can't get enough of the T!

Ricohardt Nov 23rd 2009 7:11AM
Agreed, people need to get a sense of humor. At least it isn't some more 3 worgen moon crap.
danielmattson Nov 23rd 2009 12:18PM
@ Kooda: there coming to the EU on the 24th.
Kaphik Nov 22nd 2009 8:09PM
There can never be enough Mr. T.
kabshiel Nov 22nd 2009 10:19PM
Obviously there can be or Mr. T would have a real job.
Doberbane Nov 23rd 2009 9:54AM
So acting in a commercial isn't a real job for an actor?
Zhero Nov 22nd 2009 8:11PM
Mr. T pities the fool that thinks there can be too much Mr. T.
