I've been playing off and on since launch and I'll probably keep playing off and on for the foreseeable future (probably more on once I can finally be a goblin). My favorite memory is probably doing endless Deadmines runs on my first character, a paladin. WoW was more or less my first MMO (with a little dabbling in EQ and CoH), so I had almost no idea what I was doing in a dungeon. It was fun and chaotic, but really hard. I don't think I was ever in a group that didn't wipe at Gilnid, Smite, Greenskin, and Van Cleef.
I also vividly remember trying to farm up the gold to get my epic mount and it being a really painful process, until I discovered those Dire Maul books that started a class trinket quest. I could buy those off the AH for nothing and then sell them in trade chat for a huge markup. I got my epic mount in no time after that.
