Time once again for us to update our
WoW tattoo and
license plate galleries with submissions from you readers. This time around, we've got a few new updates to the tattoo gallery, including Raevyndra of Rexxar's new arm ink above,
these two pieces sent in by Tonya, and Sean J.'s
pretty elaborate Horde crest. If tattoos are your thing, there's definitely some cool
WoW-related ink to check out in there.
This is the
only new license plate addition at the moment, but if you happen to have a WoW-related plate on your car that we haven't seen just yet (or can grab a picture of someone else's -- just stay safe if you happen to be driving at the time), be sure to
send us a note on the tipline. Stay tuned for more tats and plates when we see them.

There aren't many alliance tattoos since a majority of their player base is 13 y/os or younger.

Jesus, the ones in the main pic are just so haphazardly thrown on. Sure, get a tat of some gamer shit, why not. But why would you get one and go "hey I should get another one, under and off centre from the first"? Twice?
On the upside, the upper arm banner in pic #6 looks really well done, very nice shading. If the guy is reading, how long after was that pic taken? And how many sessions did it take?

Ok flame me all you want about this but seriously. This game is going to end eventually and who wants to have a horde symbol on your arm when it does. You will look like such a looser. wow

I think a Space Invaders tat would have that old time retro feel. Why shouldn't a horde one 50 years from now? If anything it will remind you of your roots mon.

I love it. Poor quality, haphazardly thrown on, on and pimply pale skin to boot.

To all the negative comments in this thread, I have to say, good for those who sent in photos. Some of my favorite people are those that fly their freak flag high. This includes SCA, FSM and WOW tattoos. I've only got one (in Seattle, that's borderline Amish), but I support and salute those that loved this game enough to wear it.

Truely pathetic, thankfully once civilization collapses the records of the past 50 years won't be around so the future remaining generations will never know how much of a pathetic selfabsorbed douchebag society populated the earth for a time.

You mean... you will be forgotten?

I'm all for tattoos (in fact I have 2 myself) however the difference is I can look at my tattoos in 25 or 30 years and they'll still be just as meaningful as the day I got them. WoW is an amazing and revolutionary game for our time - no doubt; but let's face it in less than 10 years these people will be playing the next big MMORPG that comes along (which they will probably like just as much if not more) and say "WTF was I thinking?!"...

I for one wouldn't be wondering what I was thinking.
I would be proud to show that I was a WoW player, back in the day.
I would be glad for a reminder of the game that I enjoyed for many years of my life, which helped me through some tough times and through which I met many good friends.
Too many people are too quick to jump on the "you'll regret it later!" criticism. For some of us, tattoos are much more than just a permanent scar on your body - they're a reminder of things that are, or have been, important to us. Those things never cease to be relevant, as they have all helped you on the path to becoming who you are today. I would never regret a tattoo that signified something of importance to me. For some people, WoW really is that important. And that's nothing to be ashamed of.

Having nothing against people with interesting tattoos I would never get one myself. Having never liked something enough to permanently ink it to my body. Can't help but think if you have a tattoo of something you may be a little too much into it. Into something enough to be into it 20+ years later is a long time. I don't even have a t-shirt older than 6 month that I like enough to wear out in public.
To each their own.

Deadly. Off. Topic. Nov 24th 2009 11:25AM
If I wasn't a wuss for the pain, I'd go for the Lordareon crest.
Urthal Nov 24th 2009 2:25PM
Awesome tattoos.

I'm thinking about sending in a pic of my scrotal tattoo, which just happens to be a hunter's mark.
