I remember back in "95" my gf and I had been playing another grinding kind of game that was getting stale so we logged in and made a couple toons, we got as far as the quest where you have to pick up logs in the logging camp... she said, "that's it, F*ck this, he can go pick up his own damn logs" and logged out for the last time and so we went back to our old game lol..
Later, after the gf was gone and I was looking for something else to play. I met a guy from work that played wow, he said his guild needed a healer and I would get to play a lot and actually get an invitation to his guild and most likely get to heal in Molten Core! Oh Boy!
He advised me to create a Night Elf Priest since they had shadow meld and could stealth! lol.. So I did, I'll never forget them boosting me in Tyr's Hand to get those last bars to 60 and getting attuned to the core. I did my first raid that night and have been at it off and on every since, my main is a Feral Druid tank since BC though, in addition to all the other toons I have now. I keep looking for a reason to quit but haven't found one yet.
