Yup. Even the appearance of the name in the top image there got me firing up All My Friends.

About a week ago the drummer for LCD Soundsystem died. He was going to a party in a New York loft when the freight elevator got stuck between floors. Someone pried the doors open and the people started to jump down to the lower floor. When he jumped, the hood on his coat got snagged on something and it pulled him back as he was jumping and he fell about 5 floors to his death. :(

He was also the drummer for "!!!". Very sad story.

wow that does sound like something out of final destination :l didnt believe it when i first read it, but 2 seconds of googling confirmed it, RIP Gerhardt Fuchs.
Ive liked LCD since i first heard their songs on Forza 2 such an awsome band, it definately fits the column.

LCD never really appealed to me. It also sounded, i dunno, flat or something. Sucks about the drummer though.
