Slightly Transparent,
Lone wolf approaches column,
Cheap shot! An early post.
I wish I came across this after there was more pages up so this wouldn't be so frustrating to have to wait a week to see the next page. Impatience abounds!

"Slightly Transparent,

In other words, 'first'? fail.

Poor Byron. This is going to be interesting. I'm enjoying getting to know the characters already. :)
Rainee Sue Nov 24th 2009 11:08AM
Aww, poor Byron. Look, he even picked up Engineering to be more like them!
I just wanna give him a hug. :(
Hasteur Nov 24th 2009 11:10AM
More! Now that we've met the "voices" from the previous strip I'm even more intrigued
Meadow Nov 24th 2009 11:11AM
Does anyone else get the urge to sing "Byron, the Tauren rogue" to the tune of "Lambert, the sheepish lion" whenever they read these?
These are awesome, looking forward to more!
Mondryn Nov 24th 2009 11:18AM
Well, I didn't before, but now I won't be able to *not* sing it.
Thanks a lot.

it seems to have less furry undertones than woweh which is a relief.
Tauren fanservice is just worrying
Kia Nov 24th 2009 11:13AM
I think what's more worrying is the fact that you seem to care.
GryphonStalker Nov 24th 2009 11:22AM
I suppose your going to be awfully disappointed when the Worgen join the scene.
eadipus Nov 24th 2009 11:34AM
having read all of woweh its pretty decent and I like the idea of byron the tauren rogue. I just dislike fanservice in all its forms, the fact thats its an anthropomorphic cow makes it slightly worse.
Ktok Nov 24th 2009 11:53AM
Not sure you have any idea what fan service means... actually, pretty sure that you don't. By the standards you're applying here, anything, featuring any race, is "fanservice" of that race. And you are apparently against that. So, basically, you're against everything that has anything from WoW in it because that would be "fanservice" of WoW.
What fan service *actually* is, for example, would be an episode of a popular anime which only exists to have all the female cast go to the beach in bikinis and serves no other purpose. *That* is fan service.
Fail troll is fail. Please come up with a more compelling argument and try again later. Like in 6 or 7 years when your other testicle drops.

@Eadipus
You're not good at this.
@Comic.
I like it. It's pretty well drawn and fun so far.
MOAR!

How ironic is it that someone whose handle sounds like Oedipus, is worried about unusual sex-appeal...

You guys do realize there actually was a "WoW eh" strip from a while back that was pretty blatant fan service, right? http://woweh.com/?p=532
It takes skill to make a scene involving a Tauren, a Belf, and a creepy Murloc sexy but she managed it pretty nicely in my opinion. Creepy Murloc is indeed creepy, though :P
LilBanshee Nov 24th 2009 1:57PM
Huh, I guess there was actually a little more 'fan service' than I remember in WoW eh... I just now started reading it over from the beginning and by the 8th comic we already inexplicably saw Cadistra and Kissless sunbathing in bikinis http://woweh.com/?p=58
Let that 'oedipus' troll above call that furre fanservice if he wants, but making a scantily-clad TAUREN even mildly attractive? That takes some real artistic skill.
eadipus Nov 24th 2009 6:38PM
joy, I was waiting for that comic to be found. Not entirely sure how I'm trolling. I like the damn comics, both WoWeh and byron.
I have no problem with you enjoying your tauren fan service, but I really don't and I hope it doesn't become a feature of this comic.
Trolling is posting to elicit an aggressive response, I was merely making an observation about where I don't want to see this comic go.
kharendos Nov 24th 2009 11:12AM
I'm definitely seeing this take more and more shape as the comic goes on... Like WoW, Eh? , this is definitely a good read. I for one, will wonder what's to happen next.
Ullaana Nov 24th 2009 11:13AM
Is Byron the little brother of...Well, you know?
Eternauta Nov 24th 2009 11:26AM
I can imagine 3 names that would could replace the "you know" in your question:
1_ Cadistra
2_ Baine Bloodhoof
3_ Gamon
And I really hope it's Gamon.
