It's
Pilgrim's Bounty, folks, and that means that it's a time for family. A time for friends. A time for giving. A time for mercilessly slaughtering hundreds of thousands of helpless game birds. And a time, of course, to be thankful. While you stuff your polygonal face with potatoes, pie, and, of course, the ol' bird, remember to keep that in mind. So, on that note ...
What on Azeroth
are you thankful for this Pilgrim's Bounty? What's warming your heart besides cholesterol?
Me, I'm thankful for heirloom items. I'm thankful for
The Art of War and
Judgments of the Wise. I'm thankful for
Predatory Strikes and
Lightning Overload. I'm thankful for my readers and
my faction leaders.
And you guys? How about you? Pass the gravy and let us know.

For my guildies, Paragon on Medivh-A US. They've been an endless source of support while I have dealt with some very difficult R/L problems. A refuge and a support network I couldn't buy for all the dollars on earth?
I'm also thankful for Blizz for doing all this fun Anniversary stuff. I appreciate they care for the fanbase still so much.
I'm not thankful to Baron Rivendale, the Time-Lost Protodrake, the Sea Turtle and the Oracles for their goddamn eggs.
I'm sitting on 99/100 and I want that mount damnit!

WoW: I'm thankful for being on a realm with a great community, and not being criticized for having 'Meh' gear. I'm thankful for the friends I've made in the 5 years of this game, and I'm thankful for Warlocks being a fun class to play.
Real Life: I'm thankful for my family, for my brother and my nephew who get insulted and attacked almost daily but always manage to get out unharmed when I'm not around, and I'm thankful for the great friends I have out in the real world.

I'm thankful that my brother, who served two tours in Iraq, is safely home for this holiday season and will not be returning to a war zone for the remainder of his career.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

I am thankful for being British and not American so I don't have to celebrate this gluttinous holiday!
Plus if you bet correctly how fast this comment will be downrated, you win a free car!*

No, the Brits typically stuff their faces next month when Christmas rolls around.
And you can keep the car.

I actually starve myself on Christmas Day to remember my dear beloved cat who died 2 years ago on Christmas Day. Long live Charlie. :')

I'm thankful for being married to a man who is exactly the kind of man little girls dream about marrying someday. I'm thankful for my amazing little nephew. I'm thankful for a year of working hard to begin establishing myself as an artist, and seeing that work start paying off.
As far as WoW... I'm thankful for friends in the game who think I'm a great because they love my gnome and have started to realize I'm pretty much a 5'10" gnome myself. I'm thankful for having a few hours at the end of the day where I can shrug off the responsibilities of my daily grind and just let the carefree side of myself loose through that gnome. I'm thankful for being able to find my way around Stormwind with no problems, even if I am still new to playing Alliance, simply by starting at Trias' Cheese. I'm thankful for dwarves. And I'm thankful that Sisters of Elune stayed up all night last night.

Everything.

Aww, some of these comments made me a little misty.
I'm definitely thankful for my family and friends who gave me a hand in the last couple of years between school and lack of employment. Also, for the people that make WoW a game worth playing, thanks to you as well.
Finally, thank you for Bloodlust, sharing in 40 seconds of extra stabbity firey death with 9 to 39 other people just gives me the warm fuzzies.

"I am happy that the microbes didn't turn me into a pile of putrefying goo yet, but it wasn't an act of thoughtful kindness on their part, since the little bastards are doing their best to get past my defenses all the time, and all that's keeping them at bay is my constant expenditure of energy to keep my immune system at readiness. And they'll also get me one day, for sureā¦unless that meteor vaporizes me into a cloud of inorganic molecules with minimal nutritional value first." - PZ Myers
...well, Mr. Sacco did ask what I was thankful for. :)

I'm thankful that the other night I finally got a yoggy kill.
Yes I know. But before the mocking begins..I'm in a fantastic but very small guild who seldom has enough raiders available to fill even a 10 man. We don't get to raid often. That's why it took so long.
MusedMoose Nov 26th 2009 9:18PM
Any downing is a good downing. Congrats!
Jason Nov 26th 2009 2:59PM
I'm thankful for cats who forgive you for being gone for two months at college and come and sleep on your bed with you the night you get home.
ToxicPopsicle Nov 26th 2009 3:06PM
I'm thankful for all the wonderful friends I've made on WoW over the 5 years I've played, even the ones that have put up with all my server transfers, name changes, and rerolls.
I'm thankful for Bloodlust, Chain heal, and all the shamans in the world.
I'm also thankful that I get to work in half an hour for 10 hours and get paid time and a half. Yay!
