It's
Pilgrim's Bounty, folks, and that means that it's a time for family. A time for friends. A time for giving. A time for mercilessly slaughtering hundreds of thousands of helpless game birds. And a time, of course, to be thankful. While you stuff your polygonal face with potatoes, pie, and, of course, the ol' bird, remember to keep that in mind. So, on that note ...
What on Azeroth
are you thankful for this Pilgrim's Bounty? What's warming your heart besides cholesterol?
Me, I'm thankful for heirloom items. I'm thankful for
The Art of War and
Judgments of the Wise. I'm thankful for
Predatory Strikes and
Lightning Overload. I'm thankful for my readers and
my faction leaders.
And you guys? How about you? Pass the gravy and let us know.

I'm thankful for the demons that I bind to my will and fel power to enslave all of Azeroth. Horde and Alliance shall both bend their knees as I take my place as your rightful Dark Lord. Legion and Scourge shall be my playthings as I remake the world into the reflection of my shadowy soul.
Oh, and leftover sandwiches. I wait all year for those.

My toons are grateful for Pilgrim's Bounty allowing them to level non-existent cooking skills into solid 400 point and up abilities.

Since the author of the article dealt mainly with thing involving the game I'll start with those.
I'm thankful that so many hordies are out of town and offline today so I can finally get my explorer title in utter peace and quiet.
I'm thankful for all the alliance folks on Whirlwind battlegroup for finally getting organized the other night so we could claim Wintergrasp, allowing me to get my heirloom shoulders purchased.
I'm thankful for my former guildies who made the game so much fun before the gm left and it disintegrated.
And I'm thankful for honor points allowing me to get closer in gear for entry level raiding.
Out of game but still on the surface :
I'm thankful for my roomies who rented me my living space, and who don't care if I grind all day and night.
I'm thankful for my adventuring partner Deanarah, though we only game together once a week now instead of nightly, she makes the game that much more fun.
I'm thankful for Baconnaise, cheap tortilla chips, microwave popcorn, store brand cola, My new AOC brand LCD 22" widescreen monitor, AM/PM minimart crappachino machines, Jerky and all the other wonderful and delicious things that keep me going all night gaming.
And most of all I'm thankful for the staff of Blizz who after 5 years are only striving to make this game better, rather than ditching it for other things after a couple of years.
Go Team Blizzard!

Specifically game-wise thanks, correct?
I'm thankful for a drama-free guild. Seriously. We all get along. I know, weird, right?
And we're in the top 10 for 25-man on our server only raiding one night per week!
Thankful for druid instant flight form which is truly the ultimate FTW awesomeness.
Thankful for being years in to playing this game and there's still stuff to do and things to see at 1am when every "normal" (non night-shift working) person has already gone to bed.
In reality: a wife that not only let me play, but gave it a shot and is now a kickass healer in her own right.

I'm thankful for my friend who got me to start playing the game. At first, it looked too complicated and I didn't want to play an mmo, but I changed my mind. Now, we discuss our respective Azerothian adventures on a daily basis.
I'm thankful for all the great friends I made in the game. Even if there seems to be nothing else to do there, they keep me coming back. They have enriched my life, given me a glimpse into their own world (such as, what it's like where they live - as they come from all over) and have kept me company in the very early mornings.
I'm thankful for my guild. I wasn't going to join one . . . EVER . . . but I'm glad I did. It's small, super casul, we don't raid or, well, do all that much together, but we can count on friendly company if someone is on.
I'm thankful for the multiple-target case Living Bomb, every hot-streak Pyro Crit I get . . hell . . . EVERY crit I get, being able to port, to make my own food, and BLINK.
I'm thankful for Daily Quests, and not having to only depend on the fickle AH martketplace. I've been able to afford my Tundra Mammoth, mats for some great gear, and I don't have to worry too much about the costs of upgrading (gems, etc).
I'm thankful that the game has a lot of soloable content, and things other than just killing stuff (not that that's not fun . . .) such as professions, economy, etc.
I'm thankful that I've been able to explore the beauty of this world, from the magical forests of Ashenvale, the beaches and waterfalls of Stranglethorn, the view from Thunder Bluff, the greenery and strange, floating islands in Nagrand, and the enchantment I feel every time I enter the Emerald Dragonshrine.
I'm thankful for Dalaran. Well, OK - the lag sucks, but it's a beautiful city, with great architechture, fun shops, and geez, it's run by MAGES. :D
I"m thankful for the great music I hear in-game. It adds so much to the gameplay and atmosphere. I just wish I could get hard copy CDs of all of it.
