In BC and early Wrath I gemmed and enchanted my bear with pretty for mitigation with +Stamina gems / stats. After suffering some horrible threat issues with my early frost resist set I started to move towards avoidance and threat generation as my gear improved.

It seems that I should go back to mitigation and stacking stamina on my bear again or have I misunderstood this article and other similar ones I've been reading lately?
