Sharing your screenshot is as simple as e-mailing aroundazeroth@gmail.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next!
Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. Please include the word "Azeroth" in your post so it does not get swept into the spam bin. We strongly prefer full screen shots without the UI showing -- use alt-Z to remove it. Please, no more battleground scoreboards, Val'kyr on mounts, or pictures of the Ninja Turtles in Dalaran. Kind of makes me wonder what the goblins are going to do with those things once they take over Azshara. I can totally see one setting up a shop and trying to sell these "amazingly lifelike crystal statues! they were just laying around, I swear!", completely unaware that, as Sarah said, they're crystal poop.

SPOILERS
The lore behind them is found in a quest chain commonly known as the "Fallen Hero of the Horde" or "You Are Rakh'likh, Demon" chain. Part of the chain involves collecting crystals (called Azsharite) that are found on the southern peninsula in Azshara while being directed by a fel hunter leant to you by a demon hunter on a nearby island.
The area is inhabited by many large, stone, giants. Many of the crystals are humanoid in shape and sometimes, when looting crystals from the crystal nodes, you find a crystalized note which describes the unpleasantness of the author of the note's current surroundings at the time of writing; i.e. the bowels of the stone giants.
Moral of the Story: valuable crystals are often giant poop.

Forgot to add... LONG ASS CHAIN... starts for ally with the fallen hero of the horde at the blasted lands boarder. It's actually 4 chains of quests... 24 total.
