I'm making the rounds on all my alts and getting cooking leveled. I love being able to do this.
Skyfire Nov 28th 2009 2:08PM
Just a quick way to extend your cooking to 400 in the same cheap way. If you have leveled through Sholazar Basin you can find the recipe for Kungaloosh in the Dalaran Sewers. Its a simple recipe, you can buy the mats from the fruit vendor in Dalaran. Buy enough to make 100 and you will end up at 398-400 depending on the RNG.
Good luck!

Yea, the 350 cooking rules.
Fighting people for Turkeys, has got to be one of the most frustrating things I have ever done in this damn game.
At one point, I had to quit playing for a while, I got so frustrated.

The most important tip: Throw out your existing Bountiful Feasts, and make new ones, so you'll have free feasts for another seven days. Stock up on all the materials, and you'll have feasts for seven days after that!
BioHazard Nov 28th 2009 2:17PM
Actually, put your current feasts in the bank for a sec and make a single new Bountiful Feast, then put your old stack on top of the new stack to reset the timer. :)
Any items with a duration inherit the duration of whatever stack you put them on. I've been able to get stuff to last for a really long time using this method. though you also have to be careful not to put your new items on to your old stack or they'll inherit the old timer.

"Coerce a druid for a chance at the Raven Lord while wearing Puritan attire."
Wait, there was actually a druid that agreed to drag a dead stealthless weight with him, AND agreed to let it roll against him?
Wow.
Sean Nov 28th 2009 4:18PM
Well, the trick there is to find a Druid who already has Anzu's Reins.
Itanius Nov 28th 2009 2:22PM
I can't believe you didn't mention the Rogue Hunting!
Tirrimas Nov 28th 2009 2:33PM
I made a troll rogue and convinced a guildie to 'port me to Dalaran. I spent a good part of the week /dancing and getting turkeyed.
It was such silly fun to be a level 1 target. At one point we had a real rogue's party going on, with one of every race represented.
Kylenne Nov 28th 2009 3:10PM
@Tirrimas: Same thing on my server, only I rolled an Orc rogue. We had rogue dance parties in Dal complete with spotlights and disco balls. XD
Vinicius O. E. Nov 28th 2009 2:55PM
The best world event imo. I leveled cooking from 0-400 on all my alts easily.

What about folks that lost two of seven nights due to "power problems" with the Seattle data center. We get no extension?
Leviathon Nov 28th 2009 3:19PM
Nothing about the holiday was that hard that you couldn't get it done with the remainder of the week.
Rapskallion Nov 28th 2009 4:51PM
Yeah... it's not a hard holiday to do. However, when you're at deer camp hunting Fri-Sunday, and traveling for holidays Wed-Saturday... it only leaves two-three nights do to it.
Yes, it's situational that I'm hosed on this one. Just frustrates me a bit the servers were down two of the three days I was actually able to log in to WoW.
I know, I know... cry me a river. lol.
Falcom Nov 29th 2009 2:18PM
I had all but the rogue ach done in one day easily. The 2nd day I only had to shoot some rogues because you can only get 5 dailies two days worth to finish. It's very easy.
Mophobius Nov 28th 2009 3:23PM
Has anyone any thoughts on the possibility of getting the sweet rep buff and logging out just before midnight until the Darkmoon Faire arrives on the 1st? I'm working on Insane and I'd like some of that extra rep for deck turn-ins...
Myrkyr Nov 28th 2009 4:17PM
Brilliant!
Abbadon Nov 28th 2009 8:12PM
heh.. I actually used it about 3 times while grinding out my Bloodsail rep. A couple times in BRD for some Thorium Brotherhood turn ins (rep) and so far once in DM starting back on the goblin rep and on some Shendralar turn ins.
It's not a ton, but every little bit helps!
In the last hours.. I plan do do a few more Thor Bro and Shendralar turn ins... and need to level my cooking on a couple alts.
kooda Nov 28th 2009 3:41PM
Meh don't care was bugged for me and i couldn't throw the dishes so gave up and stopped playing for a week.

To pass the food from the chair you are sitting at you aim (look) at one of the other chairs then you hit the pass button.
