Our guild just put Heroic Faction Champs (25) on farm last week... We need at least 2 weeks to get some attempts on Anub before 3.3 hits........

ICC is going to be gated so there will only be 4 bosses up at the beginning so there will be plenty of time to finish getting TOC down and what gear you need. ICC hard modes won't even open up till after arthas is released and killed.

Indeed, what did Mike wager to Turp about the release date? I've gotta think something semi-substantial, like letting Turpster host a WoW Insider episode, or something like that...(I tried Mr. Turpster)
Mr. Tastix Dec 2nd 2009 1:37AM
I'm looking forward to 3.3. The new LFG system is bloody awesome and I plan on making a rogue come patch-day :D
Raithvin Dec 2nd 2009 1:41AM
Undeniable proof that Turpster is a witch!
Okay maybe one more test
I need a duck and some weighing scales pronto!
michaelm Dec 2nd 2009 1:51AM
Ahem *Larder Scales* ...
Raithvin Dec 2nd 2009 1:54AM
What is this larder you speak of..
Some kind of sneaky witch thing no doubt
*Prepares a pyre*

Wow! No QQ about unconfirmed release dates? I guess people are finally beginning to trust WoW.com's sources. :D
The 8th seems like a reasonable date though. Just enough time to smooth out the worst of the bugs before holiday break hopefully. Can't wait! :)

I wish blizz would give us these sort of "well, it should happen, but no promises" updates.
Shiro_Shishi Dec 2nd 2009 2:03AM
This gives us the new LFG system correct?!
YES! I'm dying to actually get some low-level instances done for a change. One that is not a run. :)

You and me both!

I'm hoping the cross faction Heirlooms will be working in 3.3. I love my Orc Hunter, but my Gnome Warrior is sitting at 64 and I could use a bit of encouragement to get him to 80.
Al Dec 2nd 2009 7:17AM
It's a Gnome, the only thing that needs to be encouraged is deleting it.
RetPallyJil Dec 2nd 2009 3:14AM
I'm a little sad, actually. The main thing I ever wanted to do in wow was fight Arthas.
I'm only somewhat enthused by Cataclysm, so ... meh.
Slaytanic Dec 2nd 2009 3:56AM
I wonder if they will release the deadline to obtain Ironbound proto-drakes then?
Valt Dec 2nd 2009 5:10AM
Im not sure about these "Patch next week" posts..they also say it so carefully that "if everything goes right.."
All these websites always say this and if it wont come they just say "Next week patch" or "delayed it will come next week". One of the weeks are right eventually, people remember right one and claim that "But (website) was right about the release! They are never wrong!"
But yeah it seems likely it will come in 2 weeks.

Hi guys,
I am very glad they postponed the new patch because of some problems on some servers. That means the cross server mechanics need to work perfectly from the very beginning.
It will be a small revolution in WOW (and even MMORPG gaming field) because now we have AND open world realms AND enough players to do dungeons in automated PUG's.
Imagine this: there should be around 40-60 players on each realm within a 5 level bracket. With those cross server dungeons, that would make around 500 players just to search for doing dungeons while leveling.
Go see how easy it is to join a BG. And as the BG is from 10, 15 to 40 people, how much more easy it will be to group up with just 5 people. After a few days we won't even rememer how XXXX it was to find a group to do Scholomance again.
Just to be sure I am leveling a Tank paladin. Any tank will find a job these days. In Cata I'll level a ranged DPS as everyone and his dog will level through new Azeroth.
And for those monaing for the wait ....
Just uninstalled some crap named Fallen Earth. God that they even try to sell this junk.
Go Go Go Blizzard: only release things when they work !!!

"Can someone run me through Deadmines?"
With cross-server LFG, no-one really has an excuse of not being able to find more people for any dungeon.
This will hopefully help (a) people learn to play their toons before hitting heroics/endgame and (b) dungeon run beggars to be less vocal (one can only hope!)
Coram Dec 2nd 2009 10:19PM
And just in time for me since my alt pally is getting ready to hit 80- within the days. Probably by thursday afternoon, or maybe tonight if Ican get through the quests I need.

I hope 3.3 is going to come out next week, but I'm afraid it won't. As the experience of the previous ptrs, we knew everything about the upcoming arena season items a while before the release (for example like the last BC content patch Season 6 if i remember right). I hope I'm not right about this, any thoughts? Why do we know too less about season 8?
