Yes, that's right, all of them. You've probably heard about this already (we're a little late to the party, just because it seemed a little fishy to us at first), but
a player in Taiwan has an Armory profile that claims he (or she, though the character is a male tauren druid) has achieved all 986 achievements available in the current version of
World of Warcraft. That's everything, from
Loremaster, to
all the ToGC Tributes,
to the Pilgrim's Bounty holiday rewards,
even Insane in the Membrane. If there's something you can do in
WoW, this guy seems to have done it. He hasn't finished this year's Winter's Veil achievement yet (it's not actually possible until the 15th), but he has
done a PvP achievement twice, apparently, so he's still 986/986.
I'm still a little doubtful: as you can see above, the Feats of Strength bar looks like it's empty, but this guy actually has
lots of Feats done as well, including all of the realm first feats (including First Aid, and Leatherworking, all within days of each other). It just doesn't seem possible that one character could do all of that. But it all seems to check out, so we'll give him his due: Congratulations, "Littlegray" of Wrathbringer. And just in case you hadn't heard: there are other games to play.
Update: I thought Insane in the Membrane was an achievement, but it is actually a Feat, and he does not have it. Thanks commenters for the clarification.

there was acutally a commenter in WoW.com that posted a link to that guy's armory a while back
Nathanyel Dec 3rd 2009 6:36PM
There were probably several people who mentioned that in comments, but Mike said why they didn't post this earlier - but then again, you probably only meant your own comment anyway :)

FYI, he doesn't actually have all of the achievements. Look at the World Events and the Player Vs. Player areas. He's missing BB King which is not attainable until Winter's Veil but a bug on the armory is apparently counting one of his PvP achievements twice. This gives him 138/139 in World Events, but 165/164 in PvP

Learn to read the article? It was actually the majority of the text.

Actually, it was once sentence at the end of the first paragraph. But I digress, I did skim it quickly and didn't happen to see that sentence.
I didn't mean for my post to come off as condescending or negatively judgmental, I still think this is an amazing feat. I'm sure it won't take him long to earn all of the achievements in ICC once that comes out.

If true congrats. I'm sure this one will be picked apart as dubious for a while.
Maybe it's time for that girlfriend though.....

The extra PVP achievement is "Hot Hot Hot Streak," which was removed from the game, but not from armory.
Cetha Dec 3rd 2009 6:35PM
He should get "the Achiever" title
PictoKong Dec 3rd 2009 6:40PM
No, it should be "name", the one which has no live!
Still wonder how to kill him lol...
Austin Dec 3rd 2009 6:41PM
"The Overachiever" imo
Broken_toes Dec 3rd 2009 6:57PM
"Achieve whore"... "blizz's whore"... just plain "whore"...I cant even think of a positive to this. mean its obvious he's good at pvp, good at pve... but i can't congratulate this. Sure at 85 got nuthin better to do, then go for it- but bustin a nut for it... meh sod that, got better things to do.
Speedmonkay Dec 3rd 2009 7:32PM
The Overachiever ? That sounds pretty cool. That would be the perfect name of a great column on doing achievements.
Hollow Leviathan Dec 3rd 2009 9:14PM
All those achievements and he only got to Stone Guard in the old PVP system. That alone convinces me he got all of this legitimately. Anyone with rank 12+ back then either account shared or was a terminator sent from the future to destroy humanity by making honor grinds horrific.
swf2012 Dec 4th 2009 7:25AM
@Hollow Leviathan:
I know lots of folks that done it on their own, including myself (no account sharing, no afking and neither am I sent from the future to enslave mankind). If you had a good premade team going it was more then possible, so refrain from your accusations please? :)

Joke much? Take a chill pill...

The Feats of Strength bar is always empty, no matter how many you have -- they're not actually worth any points, thus no progress bar.
Personally, I suspect that this is character is actually a team of people. I just don't see how any one person could play enough to get all those achievements.

"I just don't see how any one person could play enough to get all those achievements."
My guess is it's easy if you have no life.
devilsei Dec 3rd 2009 6:43PM
Michael, you'd be surprised...
Search video-game related deaths, and Asia is top contender in them.
Death from not taking a break during their 10-15-20 game session in a cafe? Check.
Kid dumps gasoline all over another kid and then lights him on fire, claiming he's a fire mage? Check
Guy kills his friend cause he let him borrow a rare sword in a game, which the friend sold? Check!
I can keep going if you like...
devilsei Dec 3rd 2009 6:44PM
Oh, also, asian kids who play Starcraft can make 400+ actions a minute.
Arbitor Dec 3rd 2009 6:50PM
The feats of strength bar is always empty for the same reason you can't view un-obtained feats of strength.
You cant see the un-obtained ones because:
Blizz don't want you to see feats of strength you don't have, whether this is to stop noobs asking WHY CAN'T I GET THIS CHIEV ITS RITE THAR AND ITS IMPOSSIBLE FU BLIZZ FU /wrists or blizz not wanting players to have a list of grayed out achievements that are unachievable.
And you cant see anything on the progress bar because there is no current definite number of feats of strength, as they are revealed when someone gets them.
Or because you cant really progress through them as they are applied retro-actively, most of em anyway.
