Yes, that's right, all of them. You've probably heard about this already (we're a little late to the party, just because it seemed a little fishy to us at first), but
a player in Taiwan has an Armory profile that claims he (or she, though the character is a male tauren druid) has achieved all 986 achievements available in the current version of
World of Warcraft. That's everything, from
Loremaster, to
all the ToGC Tributes,
to the Pilgrim's Bounty holiday rewards,
even Insane in the Membrane. If there's something you can do in
WoW, this guy seems to have done it. He hasn't finished this year's Winter's Veil achievement yet (it's not actually possible until the 15th), but he has
done a PvP achievement twice, apparently, so he's still 986/986.
I'm still a little doubtful: as you can see above, the Feats of Strength bar looks like it's empty, but this guy actually has
lots of Feats done as well, including all of the realm first feats (including First Aid, and Leatherworking, all within days of each other). It just doesn't seem possible that one character could do all of that. But it all seems to check out, so we'll give him his due: Congratulations, "Littlegray" of Wrathbringer. And just in case you hadn't heard: there are other games to play.
Update: I thought Insane in the Membrane was an achievement, but it is actually a Feat, and he does not have it. Thanks commenters for the clarification.

@ Broken_Toes
wow get a grip, looks like somebody woke up on the wrong side of the bed and broke her toes lol

Broken_toes, I hope you're not a journalist for an English language publication. Your command of the language is poor at best. Further, your insinuation that writers on WoW.com should never be criticized because they aren't writing about a life and death matter is still stupid even if a number of WoW.com fanboy commenters agree with that sentiment.

I honestly think he's hackin it. That or it's a team of people.
Chris A Dec 3rd 2009 6:52PM
I'm gonna say congrats to this guy because that's amazing!
perdue96 Dec 3rd 2009 6:54PM
So how did he get this acheivement in October?
He Knows If You've Been Naughty

Because that's the day that Achievements went live in game, Sherlocke.

nice catch....that's really weird. that makes me think it's a hacker. i doubt that's just a glitch
bep4815 Dec 3rd 2009 7:04PM

Looks like even the Overachiever still doesn't have the Ashes of Al'ar, was gonna sh_t in my pants if he did hehe. I think its time he takes a break!
bondagedoll Dec 3rd 2009 6:57PM
If you look under some of the holiday achievements like under Winter Veil "With a Little Helper from My Friends" he has 0/50. On other achievements he is missing one or two things per achievement and it still says he got them.
Sedirex Dec 3rd 2009 7:04PM
I'm not sure about the team of players comment, but the character's still kind of dubious. His extra achievement, Hot Hot Hot Streak, was removed because it was obtained almost exclusively through win trading. As for the empty FoS bar, it's just Schramm being an idiot again, pay no mind.

I'd love to see an article on this site interviewing this guy, I'm sure lots of others would too.
It must have taken immense quantities of dedication, skill, luck..... who am I kidding- I just want to see a screenshot of his /played.
ZakuraX Dec 5th 2009 5:01PM
I think it says "Error" ^^
I would like to know how many hours/days he has used to get the all the achievements. My head gets dizzy just thinking about doing achievements I know will take over an hour.
mitch Dec 3rd 2009 7:11PM
eh, this was posted on MMO champ a week ago. I thought you guys would have jumped on it sooner. I come to wowinsider for my news/updates but still saw this mmo champ first lol.
Ah well, according to wow-achievements.com there are a couple of people who are only 2-3 achievements behind him.
Gnur Dec 4th 2009 4:33PM
Everything is on mmo-champion first.
jfofla Dec 3rd 2009 7:11PM
Mike I love you, but when you are the Editor of WOW Insider, you should not chide a WOW player for playing too much WOW!
Docp Dec 4th 2009 12:17AM
I don't know, one of my friends runs a blog about wine, but I'd hope he'd chide an alcoholic who lost his life to booze. You can have too much of a good thing.
However with that being said without meeting the guy or getting any personal info I won't insult him like others are. With the right dedication and a certain amount of luck I think this is possible and even possible to do with some sort of normal life (i.e. seeing the sun everyday).
Congratulations to the guy, I hope he had fun doing it (and here's to 3.3 and all the achievements that will add).
Akal Dec 3rd 2009 7:13PM
Casperle, to my knowledge, is the closest European player to getting all. Only 3 more, including BB King to achieve. http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Azshara&cn=Casperle&gn=UndisputeD
Evelinda Dec 4th 2009 9:18AM
2 more, from what i can see :P
Akal Dec 4th 2009 1:12PM
No 3 because of the pvp achievement glitch stated in the article. Casperle has still got to get:
He Feeds On Your Tears (25 player)
Perma-Peddle
and
BB King
:)
Sorry for the double post later in the comments, I did a fail reply.
