WoW Moviewatch: Gimme Sympathy
A gnome-loving friend of mine dropped me a hint about this music video. Kamansus has created a fun little video called Gimme Sympathy, and it's about four minutes of unbridled cute and joy. You just have to call it a win any time you get to go on a world tour, guided each step of the way by a pink-hair gnome.
I don't know much about Metric, the band who created the song, but Kamansus did a great job for a first music video. The locations and general theme of the video seemed spot on, even if something the graphic work could use a slight nudge to get the synching just right.
It was a fun video, and I hope Kamansus keeps working on new stuff. I'd like to see what's next for the creator.

Much love for Metric, one of my favourite bands. Amazing song, amazing video.

Metric is only the greatest band to never fully break out into the mainstream. Their latest album which came out in April I believe, which 'Gimme Sympathy' is off of is pretty good; but their other two full length albums, 'One World Underground' and 'Live it Out' are probably two of the most perfect albums put out in the last decade...period...

Metric actually have three LP's that came before Fantasies (from which Gimme Sympathy comes) Old World Underground, Where Are You Now?, Live It Out and Grow Up and Blow Away, which although was released last before their new album was recorded first. =)

Nifty song and it captures the gnomish spirit quite well.

I love that I'm now seeing Metric in unexpected places. They deserve it.

Very nicely done! I really enjoyed that...
Sorry, Radiophonic, you were already "in before'd".

Yet another video dragging me back to my WoW account. My Gnommer Lock is getting neglected. Come on 3.3.

I liked this song a great deal and the video was cute. So I went to Youtube to listen to other songs by this group. After checking out ten of them I'm sad to say I didn't like any one them. This song shows they have talent but most of their songs are just not my style. :-(

Watch to the very end... IN THE MOUNTAINS!

I liked the song and found the video enjoyable (although the gnome got in the way a lot)

"...the graphic work could use a slight nudge to get the synching just right."
Looked fantastic, to me. First video? Need proof of that. ;)

belf rap and now this. I can count 3 "gnome female runs around and happy music plays" that have been on moviewatch, it's becoming its own genre at this point.

I'll take TechGnome over Belf Rap any day.

But gnomes are so fluffy and cute and stupid..

"I don't know much about Metric,"
All you need to know is that they're amazing. Their latest album, Fantasies, from which "Gimme Sympathy" is taken, is no slouch, but IMO some of their earlier work is even better.
