Another good tip is turning off name display in the Interface/Names section.

Are there any macros out there that will do this automatically?Like, by pressing one key have it automatically remove nameplates, alt-z, take the pic, then return name plates to previous setting and alt-z you back to normal screen?i searched a little but couldn't find any.

Theres an addon i found on curse client called smart screenshot it seems to do what you want: Allows quick creation of clean screenshots, removing names on players and the whole UI, restoring it quick after. Four ways to use it: 1) bind a key in wow bindings 2) use comandline command "/sss" 3) execute the script "DoSmartScreenshot()" or macro "/run DoSmartScreenshot()" 4) hold shift when doing usual sreenshots (NOTE! this will take some time and will generate 2 screenshots, one with and one without UI)
